Let me start off by saying, Happy Valentine’s Day. I want you to enjoy a bit of my favorite singer’s apprapo song, and also include a few pics of me in the color of the day, with one of my favorite wool coats, and also my favorite antique piece of jewelry with pearls that I will post again. You can see our Storm of 2014 behind me.

I went to school initially for Classical Guitar, however when I would go to student performances, you could hear a pin drop, and upon reflection of a future career, unless I was a master at it, like Andre Segovia, then I saw myself at local Mexican restaurants, performing live at people’s tables. However, when I would go to the jazz performances in college, I really wanted to move in my seat! The beat, the swing, the improv! I loved it, so I asked my guitar instructor at the music school if I could switch to the jazz guitar program. He agreed, as long as I busted my butt in order to learn the theory and chords, music history behind the jazz I was going to learn. Nevertheless, I worked hard at it that summer. I promise you one of my posts will include some of my guitars. I wanted to have you enjoy one of my favorite singers singing “My Funny Valentine”.
