24 Jun Neutrals for Summer – And a Sweater for Those Chilly Places

I thought I would share with you some pieces that can be worn on their own and worn with a sweater when you are in air conditioning or a chilly place. Not only that, but you will definitely look chic!

This gorgeous knit sweater(The Camden Cardi) from Franne Golde is a piece you could wear year-round. In this beautiful tan (taupe) it will go with everything and be there for you to prevent a chill when dining.

Right now, here in NC we are experiencing a heat wave, so I am sure I got some looks when I was doing this photo shoot. Preferably for this stunning look, rather than the sweat beading down my neck as a result. We do what we have to do for Fashion’s Sake!

I loved the ease and coolness of this white shorter dress, the Ibiza dress. 

Now my mind wanders of far away places….

Franne Golde has this dress in a long maxi version as well as this shorter style. The white dress is basically a canvas. Wear as is with textured or quilted slides, with a pair of sneakers for a more casual look, or in this case here I have some leather sandals with a wood heel to provide some “architectural interest” as well. I love gold, so accessories are going to shine as well, when simplicity comes to play. You can keep it minimalistic with a gold chain and rattan bag. The restaurant will call for adding this beautiful knit cardigan to the look, adding additional warmth, both temperature and “color-wise”.

I’ve styled another piece that caught my eye with the bronze- ish metallic shade and again ease. This slip dress is satin floats out at the bottom, I’ve styled it with a pair of white Zara strappy sandals, the cardigan, for a more monochromatic look and some gold jewelry.

The white dress is styled with the Franne Golde knit cardigan in tan, and I added my Eric Javits rattan bag that is also a favorite. The Ibiza dress does come in other colors and is on SALE!

Another dress you can either dress up or down. Fancy, elevated, or sporty/fun.
