Bulwer-Lytton Well, I hope you didn't think I was going to shock the heck out of you with my hair gone completely grey just yet! As you know, there is much media attention on women going grey at a certain age. I remember when my mom's hair, seeing her one moment with light brown hair, to the next with solid white, was a bit of a shock! It truly didn't take us all long to get used to it and really like the snow white hair on my mom.

Hello FriendsI couldn't resist this dress when I saw it on ASOS. I bought this months ago and it has been sitting in my closet just waiting to make an appearance!  I stick pretty well to my monthly budget or otherwise I might have bought a few more lots of  embroidered tops and dresses. I have one other one I look forward to sharing. I thought this dress was unique with its higher sheer neck and embroidered sleeves in red and pink. The scalloped sleeve trim and bottom trim on the dress appealed to me and I plan on styling this sheer portion other ways... gotta be creative!

Happy Monday friends!Well, it is officially summer! Kidding. But here in Charlotte it almost feels like it is! 85 degree days and sunshine have been the weather for the past 4 days.  I love the sun as it does help my mood but the heat can hold off for a few more months! This weekend we enjoyed just sitting out by Lake Norman bringing the pups and having lunch out. I've been having a hard time health wise struggling with coming down on one of my pain medications. I won't go into it only to say that this illness certainly does challenge me both physically and mentally at times.

Hello FriendsIf you have been reading the blog for a bit, you probably know I enjoy wine. I won't label myself a "wine snob" but I am particular and know what I like. Do you remember the first time you tried a glass? I have memories of the good ole Box 'O Wine - namely Franzia, that we used to bring to parties or enjoy ourselves, because we like Zinfendal  and it wasn't expensive! When you are in college, I don't think you get to be so picky! I thought I would write a bit of a different post today...
