Today was a day I desperately needed! I needed some pampering. I have been dealing with some issue with the muscles in my feet, it is going to take some time before dry needling and my PT can straighten it out. So, there have been some days where my bed and my pups have been my refuge Today, I decided not to cancel my hair color wash, cut and style, as I needed a pick me up like King Kong picked up Fay Wray  and held her over the Eiffel tower! Yeah, that big.

My stylist is AMAZING. She knows my medical background, and she always makes sure I am comfortable When my hair is given a bit of a boost, I get to lay on a massage table she has prearranged for me, in the dark with some of the new age, peaceful tranquility sounds on, to the point I could just fall asleep! When I am done, she has me use my cushion and knew that I was taking pictures for the blog. She said, ” I have to curl your hair too!”  I remember another salon, who will remain nameless, where I went up to pay the price of the haircut, and they had not told me the stylist went up a level( in price) but not only that, charged me $17 to curl my hair! Ha! Needless to say, I do not go there anymore, but my girl does it just out of the good of her heart.

Best place, and did I tell you I needed a bit of pampering? So, while I was out for this one day, we did go to Bacchus, this tapas bar, where I had some very crisp, fresh, fruity white wine that was sooooo good after drinking loads of herbal tea for awhile. They also made a lovely salad with greens, goat cheese, homemade croutons, tomato etc and I had their sausage and shrimp creamy soup. Anyway, I had to get out for awhile, and my stylist commented on how she liked me in pink. I have told y’all that I was very much into black and dark colors in college, so I have come around. I do like pink. This skirt was from Ebay, as I missed it from Ann Taylor the season before. I just love florals and always have!
