Some Brands I am Loving This Year- And My Discount

I’ve been introduced to some new to me brands this year, and I am sharing what I love about them, and my discount to you, my readers.

We are getting close to Christmas, and I hope you are enjoying the Holiday season thus far. We put up the decor early, around Thanksgiving, and really have been taking advantage of all of the Holiday activities around us. I mostly stand and am good walking, sittingh is the issue. I try and limit the sitting but am also taking a muscle relaxer to help.

Here are some brands I am loving this year.

Pax Philomena Brand

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that this brand was one of “Oprah’s Favorite Things” for 2022. I can see why! This beautiful hand stamped printed pajamas are an art form that is popular in India. There are quite a few prints to choose from, but this popular Priscilla Poppy pajama print caught my eye . I love that the pants do not have elastic that presses on your gut, but a drawstring to cinch the bottoms together. I am wearing a small, as I wear a 4, and the sizing is very comfortable. I wanted to make the sleeve and pant legs were long enough, as when I get an XS, these are often too short. The trim is a different design and the 100% cotton keeps you cool!

Pax Philomena als has kaftans, boiled wool coats and more. They are Indian design with Italian craftsmanship.

What I love, is the designer, Jean Marie, has   proceeds go to Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity, to spread peace throughout the world.

From the website:

PAX PHILOMENA fuses rich, Indian block prints and timeless Italian style to create beauty, color and comfort in clothing. Pax, Latin for peace and Philomena, which means “daughter of light”, serve as the inspiration for this multi-cultural clothing line.

Blending rich details with ancient traditions, designer Jean Marie Clarke has created innovative clothing using exquisitely designed textiles and vibrant novelty fabrics. Believing that well-crafted clothing inspires joy and confidence, PAX PHILOMENA transcends design to create clothing that when worn, becomes art.

Monica Vinader

Since being on Instagram, I have come across this jewelry brand, Monica Vinader The price points are reasonable, and the jewelry is beautiful There are many pieces that can be worn as every day pieces, and I love that they are recycled silver and gold. The company has won awards for their sustainability practices, and

I received thia beautiful Green Onyx ring as a welcome gift as I am now a Monica Vinader Insider. I may have hinted at a piece or two from this brand for Christmas. Santa are you reading?

The ring is a part of designer Kate Young and Monica Vinader Collaboration.  I love the earrings that would go with this ring.

I have a little collection of Vivaia shoes that I acquired as a blogger this year. I really love that the brand is eco-friendly, sustainable and makes their shoes and boots from 6 recycled water bottles. The knit is a tight knit and may are machine washable. I love that they are also breathable and lightweight. These shoes are great for travel as well. (See I keep mentioning travel. Sigh.)

These cheetah loafers in red are adorable! I have the doggie version in a camel color, but I love these as well. They would be your statement shoes! Here is a tan version for dog lovers

I love too, that they have a wide variety of colors and styles to choose from.

Clara Sun Woo

Another brand I became acquainted with recently is Clara Sun Woo. They are a mother daughter business in New York. I was quite excited to try the brand, as the clothes are wrinkle free, soft, comfortable, stylish, and would be great for travel as well. (Yes, I am still thinking about our Italy trip in the future). I love supporting women owned businesses as well.

You recently saw this post, where I shared a bit about the company, and shared a styled outfit.

There liquid leather pieces are something else! They are literally! They are a knit, but look like leather, which is just wonderful. I

I think that’s the best part of our job is discovering new brands that we would never have known about otherwise.
    These are fabulous Jess,
