So glad we kicked 2020 to the curb! Hoping for better days ahead in 2021.
You know the saying, “If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em!”. Well, it seems the puppies felt that way in their loungewear today!
I’m styling my Lou & Grey joggers in a casual but put together way with my 2 best friends today.
Since we are all wearing joggers, loungewear and the like around the house these days, the pups decided to get in on the action 🙂
Loungewear for All
Santa Paws brought them these darling sweat suits, to keep them cozy and warm at home. The “Adidog” logo was icing on the cake!
It was hilarious though, as my pups are not used to things are their hind legs! I have jackets for them and other clothing, but never had put anything on their legs . So, we were all laughing out loud when Gibson would stand frozen in the living room and not move, feeling the awkward material on his backside and legs. He would refuse to go up the stairs! We did get a good chuckle out of it!
They were good little sports as we made our way for a photoshoot of the New Year. It was pretty cold this day, and they both sat on this concrete bench with me as they shook and looked like little polar bears on the frozen Tundra.
So, we took their pictures, quick, and put them back into the warmer car, while hubby shot the rest with just me.
We had a very nice Holiday with my mom and I talked about it about it yesterday on the blog. I have been thinking about blog and life goals lately, as I do in the New Year, and will be posting about that soon.
For awhile now I have been looking at these Lou & Grey joggers. Rub your hand over them and they are silky soft. Soft, warm and look good? Count me in! So, when LOFT had a Lou & Grey sale over the Holidays, I bought 3 pair. They don’t often have their jogger sets on sale, so I took advantage! I bought this black pair, an olive pair and the pair of leopard joggers I wore yesterday. ( Got these for a steal-$17) They no longer have the olive pair, but this teal pair is lovely too!
The black ones can be dressed up, READ- Styling Joggers in a Dressy Way , yesterday’s post. Really, any of the pairs of joggers can be dressed up with some modifications.
Today, however, I wanted to style them in a casual, but put together manner.
This quilted turtleneck plum sweatshirt I bought from Marshalls about a year ago, worked with with these joggers. This Amazon one is similar and has pockets.
A double leopard look was done with my swing vintage faux fur coat and my favorite wedge leopard sneakers from Nordstrom.
Jess in street style, who’d have thought? 🙂
The sneakers are TTS, but I always get a half size up in sneakers in order to wear thicker socks with them.
