TH- Clara Sunwoo – Staple Pieces That Would Be Great for Travel

Im sharing an ensemble from Clara Sunwoo today on the blog.

Clara Sunwoo Staple Pieces

This time of year, I think many of us have travel on the brain.

Last year, I was so disappointed that the Italy trip had to be cancelled. This year, I am working hard (in physical therapy and home) to be able to make a short plane ride out of Charlotte.

Capsule wardrobes are a great idea for travel. Get some basic pieces and mix and match your outfits. Bring a few pairs of shoes and you are good! Not only that, if I bring pieces by Clara Sunwoo, I can ball them up in my suitcase, or roll them, and they won’t wrinkle. Isn’t that sweet!?

As you saw in THIS POST, I have the liquid leather gaucho pants and love them. I decided on another black pair, this one with the slit in the front. It’s so fabulous when you walk- an elegant pair of pants. They are soft and really as comfortable as my pajamas.

The top caught my eye with it’s turquoise blue shade and the side tie to accent your waist.

If you need a rehash,

Clara Sunwoo is a mother-daughter business in NYC, and they make clothes that are not only comfortable, but great for travel and daily wear. Fit is the key, and these pieces fit like a dream.

Where might I be traveling? I feel like I’m afraid to say, that something may go wrong if I mention it out loud!

We are planning a May trip to Martha’s Vineyard. I am quite excited about it. I can at the moment, sit for about 2-3 hours without terrible pain, and more comfortably with my cushion. It has taken 6 months to get to that point. So, we have to use our flight credit before June, and I knew I was only going to be able to fly a few hours. So, we will head to Boston and the next day make our way to Martha’s Vineyard! I am excited!

So, these pieces along with others I have will be in my suitcase. I’d love to write about a capsule wardrobe for traveling if you are interested. Do let me know!

This top is so lovely with it’s blue pattern and tie at the waist. Its the extra details that I like. It’s very silky feeling and comfortable. These kick front high slit pant are just lovely, and the way they flow is very elegant. Like I said, it’s the details!

I’m wearing an XS in both pieces, as I wear a 4 in pants and tops

Some Other Great Pieces for Your Travels

I’ve been eyeing these wide leg pants as a basic for mixing and matching. Love the 3″ soft waistband and it could be styled casually or dressy.

These side slit pant would make a great basic,. The pants are quite soft with the light jersey material.

This side tie top in black would go with everything and be a great piece to mix and match.

White will go with everything, and this white crossover faux wrap top will look elegant with any bottom as well.

Am so glad you are responding to therapy. I’ve started now as the pain blockers inserted with surgery are helping me tolerate the therapy. I’m attempting my first get away in years too in May. Here’s to both of us being pain free xx

Iโ€™m keeping my fingers crossed for you! These Clara Woo items are so pretty. Itโ€™s amazing that they can endure so muchโ€ฆ.squishing and remain wrinkle free. Iโ€™ve recently come across another brand that is wrinkle resistant called Travel Smith. Iโ€™ve picked my pieces up on ThredUp, so the ones I have arenโ€™t as trendy as Clara Woo. But if you need other options, you might check them out too

I am in love with my Clara Sunwoo pieces – so good for everyday but definitely great for travel. The slit in the hem of those pants is so fun and the blue in the top reminds me of the ocean!
