THT- Ovcio Featherweight Cashmere Scarf Styled Two Ways

Today I am styling the Ovcio featherweight cashmere scarf styled two ways on the blog

Ovcio Featherweight Cashmere Scarf

You know how it is.

You dressed up and are looking forward to a fancy dinner in this trendy restaurant. It is August in the South, so it’s HOT.

The slip dress you are wearing is leopard print and will go with any color of the rainbow.

Now, you have a new scarf by Ovcio, which will be worn as a wrap or kimono styled with the slip dress, keeping you comfortable in the air conditioned restaurant.

The additional burnt orange color combined with leopard looks quite classy and elegant.

I am wearing it just hanging on each side as a kimono or as a wrap, with one sided wrapped over one shoulder.

About Ovcio

Per their website:

“As a group of engineers in Silicon Valley, we made a significant change in our career path. After one year of sourcing, experimenting and cooperating with Batu Jegu farm – a fourth generation family business who is proud to provide the world with the world’s softest Mongolia cashmere, we started Ovcio – The aspirational lifestyle and cashmere scarf brand. ”

Alex Wang,
Cofounder@Ovcio  ( source)

The quality is wonderful, and I just love the elegance of these scarves. They are sourced with fine Mongolian cashmere, which not only is elegant, but keeps you warm.  It is so light, however, it hardly feels like you are wearing anything.

They source the cashmere from the goats and “to protect our animals, make the word “sustainable” renowned, work fairly, and reduce our carbon footprint.”

I will be taking this scarf to Italy, as it is the perfect wrap for a chilly night! Great for travel. It fits in a small pouch that they give you with the scarf.

Life Lately

My mom is headed back home Wednesday, so we celebrated her birthday (July 31st) and my niece’s birthday (12th birthday ah-oh tween!) at my brother’s house for a pool party! Had a blast and we enjoyed some crab legs that my sister’s boyfriend brought, as well as a plate of amazing sushi (my niece’s favorite) and other delectables. The rain held off until we left at 8 pm, and it was a bit cooler. Overall, a great day!  We bought mom a Garden bench that can be lowered as well to make a kneeler. It has pockets on both sides for garden tools. A long pair of floral garden gloves was another gift we gave. She received other presents and little did I know my brother got her a 3 lb bag of Gummy bears! We did too- so 6 lbs of Haribos will be on their way to Pittsburgh! LOL. We bought my niece a Stranger Things tee and some beaded bracelets.

What a gorgeous scarf, Jess! I always need a cardigan or jacket for restaurants but I love the idea of a scarf like this to avoid having to carry something bulky. xo Nipa

That is too funny about all of those gummy bears! She will be set for a while! Your scarf is stunning! It’s just the right weight for summer for those cold AC buildings. Love how you paired it with leopard!

What a great lightweight scarf! I actually was cold yesterday in a couple stores wearing a tank top. With the AC blowing it is nice to have something to cover up if needed.
