Trending Colors- Yellow and Sage

Happy Friday my friends,

Two colors that are making a big splash this season are yellow and sage green.

I have added several yellow pieces in butter  and mustard yellow to my wardrobe, and have been desiring a few sage pieces. I love greens and yellow, they remind me of flowers and Springtime.

Our entranceway and hallway have been painted a sage green a few years ago, as I love the calmness of the shade.

I always loved both of these soft colors and to be they are peaceful and serene.  Wonderful colors for decorating, they are equally lovely in fashion.

Think of the sage green as the leaves on a plant, this subdued tone will go with any color. Picture a vibrant purple flower with sage green. Magenta petals and greenery.

Here this design incorporates the butter yellow in art as well as a fabric chair/pillow. The sage green walls add to the calmness of the room.

Here yellow flowers and bouquets are added to the sage bedroom.

This combination of sage and blush is also soft and beautiful.

Here you can see sage and olive with blush pink in combination.  Read THE POST if you missed it.

I’ve curated for you some sage and yellow pieces that I have my eye on.

Love this smocked off the shoulder romantic sage dress.

Tiered dresses are big this Spring and the puff sleeves and smocking are also popular details.

A delicate floral with smocking looks great with these tailored shorts.

This soft yellow dress in midi style is romantic and fresh for Spring.

Mango’s oversized cotton shirt can be worn as a dress.

This relaxed cotton blouse is so pretty in white and butter yellow.

Love the ruffles and simplicity of this top

Have you shopped for these shades this Spring? Do you have either of these colors in your house?

Have a great weekend,

Jess xx

These are both beautiful colors on their own but together they are stunning. I love that it lends to such a calm and mellow vibe. I am a huge fan of puff sleeves and I am loving these tiered dresses you featured.

Thank you! Yes, I love these colors and how pretty together. I loved the house examples too. Just the soft yellow chair in the room with the sage walls. Tiers are all the rage!

My house, inside and out, is painted in different shades of sage green! I love it. And green (all shades) is my favourite colour so I love to see it in the shops again!
