Trending: Styling My Off the Shoulder Lemon top

Hi Ladies!

Lets face it, who didn’t have a lemonade stand as a kid. 10 cents a pop, got you a glass of lemonade. Now, its a buck, per inflation and some young entrepreneurs. Ha! When I saw this top on Shein, I thought, yes! Now, its more about the grown up version, as I enjoy sipping some Lemoncello now and again.  All of the fruit  I eat over the summer, this top will remind me of this warm, sunny season.  I loved the Off the shoulder style, and bought one other top when shopping on the site. I also like a bright yellow for summer, although it is best kept as a skirt, and not near my face, as bright yellow may not be as complimentary there. I decided to combine the print with my yellow lace skirt for added texture as well as my Zara pine green statement necklace. I could wear this top either off the shoulder or on.

How has this trend welcomed itself into your closet? Or are you not a fan?

I paired this top with a green statement necklace from Zara, and some white sandals for more of that summery look.

Deets: Outift: Shein lemon top, Ann Taylor Lace skirt, Clark Artisan white sandals, Zara statement necklace, Handbag: Charming Charlies.

Have a great summer day,

Jess xo

Outfit: Shein top, older Ann Taylor Lace skirt, Ckarks sandals, Zara statement necklace

Great summer outfit, Jess. The top is really gorgeous, I like the off the shoulder look and those bright yellow go so well with your complexion.

No need to make lemonade out of this outfit, it is fabulous. Once again, you have taken a fashion trend (or two) and treated it to your own brand of elegance. Thank you for adding your post to my Fine-Whatever link up.

Jess, you look amazing in yellow. I just received my first cold-shoulder top from Boston Proper this week. Have been admiring the trend on others – and LOVE it on you – but feel a little timid about actually wearing it myself. Why is baring my shoulders such a biggie? Ha! You have inspired me to put my top on and wear it. In public. Here goes…

Yes! Go for it. I always liked OTS tops and dresses. Had several, years before it became a trend. It should be fun, so try it 🙂 x

Thank you Shelbee, I try not to wear yellow too close to my face, but rather as a skirt or print, it works better. Absolutely! I just need a reminder email! Lots of linkups right? Thanks again! xx

Such a cute top. I love the bright yellow and how you paired it with the yellow lace skirt. It would also look great with white jeans or dark green pants. It has a fun vibe. The necklace is beautiful too. Thanks for posting. – Amy

Now this is an off the shoulder that I think I could really love—I think one of the differences is the waist. It seems like many of them are very unfitted otherwise!!
As a yellow lover—I think this screams summer fun!! (although I never did have a lemonade stand—I am the worst at selling!!)
    So lovely, Jess!!

I love the colours of this outfit!! And it looks stunning on you. I’ve never been one for florals but I’d be willing to try it again if I looked as good as you do!
I also happen to enjoy a glass of limoncello every now and again. My neighbour makes it fresh so we’ve got a bottle in the freezer at the moment 😉
