09 May Turning Heads Linkup- Graphic Tee-White Jeans+ Winkwood Giveaway

Hello Friends,

Well, we had a Dog Day Afternoon at Raylen Vineyards on the weekend, when we attended the Dog and Drinks event, benefiting the Humane Society. Gibson was so excited when we got there, as he pulled on his leash to get to see other dogs. Truffles hid behind my hubby’s pant leg- thinking ” doggy overload!: I, however, was in my element! Pups and wine, two of my favorite things! This outfit for today was something I put together for Sunday, I wasn’t about to wear white jeans at a vineyard with dogs 🙂

The weather was cold and kind of grey, the wind blowing more than I care. However, I got to meet Gibson’s Doppleganger in female form! I’ve always has a fondness for pups as a little kid, and I felt like my inner 12 year old as I asked each owner if I could pet their dog. I suppose I could go on, but lets talk about my outfit. ( It still a part of this theme:-) We listened to music from a one man rock band, had lunch and enjoyed some Cabernet Franc.

I know that this is a “uniform” that some ladies enjoy wearing, and I can see why. Comfortable and fun, it is an easy, yet stylish combination. I started looking for a textured or statement tee, and bought this one from LOFT years ago. The graphic is a fashionista holding up a little pup, with a textured chiffon skirt on the tee. I thought perfect! I decided to bring out the white jeans as I want to begin styling them more throughout the spring/summer. The last part of this ensemble is a blush jacket I bought from Poshmark ( F21) and have worn quite a bit. The pink ball drop earrings are from Charming Charlies as they are a Baublebar copy that caught my eye.

This isn’t a hard look to put together, so give it a shot! I like the textured skirt on the tee and have other textured tees for more visual interest. Add a fun blazer ( bright spring color or print) and pair of jeans. For a trendier look, add statement sandals or an additional pop of color.
