Turning Heads Linkup-Holiday Look- Green Cashmere with Black Lace Skirt

`-

Its the last of the dressy Christmas look this week on the blog .

I wrote on Friday, about how you can keep your spirits up during this Covid Christmas, and one was dressing for Christmas. Read the Post HERE.  Christmas is always a season of Giving, so read other ways you can lift other’s spirits as well.

I’ve worn Winter White HERE for Christmas, a Red dress HERE, and this week, I am sharing some green outfits if you enjoy wearing this color for Christmas.

I have had this Moschino green cashmere sweater for a number of years, and purchased it on Bluefly.com. I liked the wrap style and vibrant green color, with the fringe, which is trending this Fall.

My black lace skirt is years old from Ann Taylor, and I loved the heavy wegith of the skirt along with the leather trim at the waist.

I need a few new textured tights, but my favorite lace tights made an appearance here. Do it up! You don’t have to think because your skirt is lace that you can’t wear lace tights, and go for the solid black.

The additional lace is makes a statement!

I’ve also added these Ann Taylor layered gold and green necklace for that special sparkly touch!

Want to see casual looks?

Well, after Christmas I will be styling some lounge wear as well as denim and more casual looks for the months of January and Feb.

Christmas Lights and More

A few days ago we loaded into the car, including the pups, and went driving around nearby neighborhoods to see their lights and outdoor decorations. We stopped first for Gingerbread Lattes and then spent 2 hours looking at the magical lights. It was alot of fun, and many people are doing it up this year!

Tomorrow is a day of baking. Mom and I are making sugar cookies, and gingerbread men with icing. Cookies are my weakness!

I mentioned in this post, we are making “Pink Squirrel” cocktails on Christmas Eve in honor of my dad. To read more about it, read this post.

I’ll be taking a Holiday break from the blog, so I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas!

What a pretty green. I just ordered a green turtleneck that I hope will be a similar shade. It is hard to tell online. Saw a few turtlenecks at the mall yesterday that were green but more of a deep blue green. Fingers crossed the top I ordered it the same color as your beautiful sweater. Love the contrast in textures. The fringe and the lace.

Cookies! Yes please. I am not usually into them but lately since we have been home so much baking is something I like to do with my son. Of course, he loves cookies because of the sprinkles! Ha! I love your sweater. The color and the fringe details are just so stunning. This would be a perfect Christmas outfit. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas week Jess!

I have been enjoying all your festive holiday outfits!
I think now more than ever dressing up even if we’re staying at home is so important for our mental health.
I am going to start baking tomorrow for Christmas when our children arrive in Park City.
Lots of Italian recipes and cookies will be filling my time.
I love a Pink Squirrel! I used to have them living in Minnesota. Very popular drink in the Midwest!

    Merry Christmas my dear friend!

You might be the first person to know what a Pink Squirrel is! Cool! I look forward to making my Dad’s favorite drink.
