22 May Turning Heads Linkup – Lemon Top, White Denim, and Andre Assous Gold Espadrilles

Hello ladies!

I’ve just been dying to wear some yellow and my new shades!

I knew it was time to take out my lemon print top! Doesn’t it remind you of Spring/Summer? I bought it last year after seeing it on another blogger.  Makes me think of a cool glass of lemonade in the summer, or kids selling at their Lemonade stands! ( they still do that!- but inflation has made a glass of lemonade -$1 :-)) I do like that I can wear this top on or off the shoulder too.

I am wearing my lemon top with my new Andre Assous Cadence Espadrilles.  I am thrilled to be collaborating with Andre Assous again. I have quite a few pairs of espadrilles in my closet, each different in their own way. I love this style in Gold and the shimmery gold detail makes them a bit fancier.

Now, wouldn’t this photoshoot have been cute near a lemonade stand, or a pool.. something summery… I do try and get “locational shoots” 1-2 days a week for the blog, but sometimes my health just enables me to walk a few feet from my door. I suppose, you gotta do, what you gotta do… My hubby has been noting and taking pics with his phone, of some great locations to take pics.., so when i can…it’s on the agenda! I hope to show you some areas around Charlotte in the near future!

Metallics are a fun way to add some shine to a look. The “glittery gold embellishment” caught my eye and thought it fun to pair with neutral looks as well.

Andre Assous shoes are made in Spain, and his name is associated with the espadrille sandal. One thing I enjoy about blogging, is working with brands I believe in and want to share with my readers. I haven’t had to buy shoes this Spring and that is great for my budget… But, do I save it? No, it ends up going towards dresses or tops or whatever else I may fancy!

These sandals are wonderful as they are not too high , at 2.5 inches and the platform is the same height making them easy to walk in! They also come in silver and navy- all very pretty!

They have sandals, wedges, and espadrilles among other styles.

I finally received my sunglasses, “The Hamptons”  from Eyebuydirect. I wanted a smaller pair to fit my face, so I bought these and one other style you will see on the blog. I have been asked if they are “Ray Bans”, and they aren’t but I think they look similar in style. I loved this style with its warm tortoise frame and slightly rounded look.

Thanks too for your enthusiasm about my hair! I am getting it done as usual this week, just covering all of the white and grey  I have ( there is a lot!) and may get the ballyage at the end of June.. so we will see! When, if, I do get it done, I will share it here 🙂 I just think with the taste of the heat we have had here already, there may be many days of chignons and ponytails regardless!

I love how they shimmer in the sun! This is one of their most popular styles. Can you tell I got a pedicure? I chose a peach tone.
