Happy Friday!~I thought I would post this today, as I took this earlier, so a bonus fashion post this week!It seems that I have been influenced. Funny, an influencer, now the influencee. Ha! The word sounds silly to me, as I don't think to "influence", but rather "share" my love for fashion and the art of creativity when it comes to fashion. Nonetheless, I have seen many long dusters, or cardigans, on various bloggers, and have been influenced enough to buy several for myself. The duster is the third piece in the 3 piece rule.

Is making friendships at Midlife much different than other times of our life? I was thinking about this after coming home from the Influencers at Midlife Conference. Many of the topics we discussed were of importance to us in this stage in life, and I think this question is something I would love to hear your answers to myself!

Now, my pup, Truffles, is the one we call "Princess" :-), nevertheless, I am sharing a collaboration with this California jean company today. Hello Ladies Did you ever attend a meet-up, conference, or blog event that got your juices flowing or gave you added inspiration? The Influencers at Midlife Conference, hosted by Robin Lamonte of Hello I'm 50ish  and Nine Bandoni, of Sharing a Journey in Alpharetta, GA this weekend, did just that. The Conference was Friday-Sunday, located at the Hotel at Avalon, a new 1 yr old modern posh hotel not far from Huntersville, where I live.

Good Morning Ladies! I was so thrilled to be able to go to the Influencers of Midlife Conference over the weekend, and I will be getting that post together soon. So, stay tuned! However, one of those wonderful ladies I met was Jessica, my contact through Soft Surroundings, and it was wonderful to talk and meet her in person and on a personal level. So, as a bit of a segway, I am wearing a very ultra soft grey toned leopard jacket, the Pasha Coat, from Soft Surroundings today, along with a beautiful, unique blue-grey leaf statement necklace also from the company.
