Morning Ladies!Our Winters here are pretty mild,( not today) where it can be cold in December- February, or we can have days where it is 60 degrees. Today is bitter! I recently received this Teddy Bear nubby coat for Christmas, and it is just the right weight for this climate. The rust color was love at first sight and something different for Winter. Hi friends!I love a beret! After seeing berets on lots on different bloggers last year, I knew I should try one. That decision was solidified after I tried a cute red one on when we went to Francis Ford Coppola's Vineyard. I could try on some of the props, and I went for the beret. Who doesn't love to have fun with fashion and are tempted by hats?
I will say it. I am not a Winter gal. If I were a snow bunny that loved to ski, skate, and didn't mind the cold, it would be all good. However, I am just I have been enjoying sitting in the Great Room with the fireplace on when I work. January is one of those very cold, kinda grey dreary months, so it certainly can affect my mood. Wearing some bright and cheery colors during the Winter can help put you in a better mood, so I styled my mustard yellow floral blouse with this Anthropologie cardigan I bought on Poshmark this year.

Hi friends!Mama's got a brand new bag! :-) I love nice handbags and have a bit of a collection that I enjoy. One color I was missing in my collection was red. I think I had looked this Fall for red bags until my eyes turned blood shot. ( ok, exaggeration) but I am picky on style and quality. I mentioned to hubby I would like a red bag- and over Christmas he surprised me with this beauty.- The Prada Vitello Daino Shoulder Bag. This post is just a bit later than I intended, but its only the 4th of January and why not take a look back at 2018 and think about what goals I have for the upcoming year. The first week of the New Year brings promise and hope for better things in the upcoming year. A kind of Renaissance, or rebirth. I don't really make "resolutions" but rather reflect on the past year and see what I might want to change or reflect on the past year and what went well.

Dogs, kids, hours of opening presents, and lots of great food and family time. One of my gifts is this rust teddy bear coat that I love! I have looked for these coats for awhile and this color, with the larger lapels was so pretty! I love it. It is lighter than some of the faux fur leopard coats I have looked at, perfect for the NC winters.
