Fall Elegance: Mastering Seasonal Transitions with Accessories and Rich Hues

Today I am talking about mastering seasonal transitions with accessories and rich hues.

As you may know, we don’t actually have Fall temperatures until about the end of October, early November here in Charlotte, NC, so I am sharing a way to transition to Fall with color and some new accessories.

I have a bit of a handbag collection, so when I could work with Teddy Blake again, I chose a bag that was a different shape and a warm cognac color. Since I don’t like to get overwhelmed with too many bags, clothes, etc. I have made a self-imposed rule, that when I get something new, I sell or donate that same kind of item. I have recently donated to Uncommon Threads, a non-profit that helps lower income ladies with clothing to wear for interviews, looking for work. So, since I have received a few new bags recently, I have listed some on Poshmark, as well as donate to a nearby charity.

Now, as I mentioned, a way to transition into Fall, if you live in a warm climate is to wear some rich colors. This look is all from my closet, except the new Teddy Blake Vannessa Bag. I love the 12″ size, as a prefer a smaller/medium size bags these days. I do think it fits my frame better, as well as being easier to find things in the bag. It does come in a 14″ size as well. This is a cognac color and has a snap closure to close the handles. There are 2 open sections and a zip compartment in the middle. This bag comes in a multitude of colors.

The silk scarf has some wonderful colors in it, mustard, rust, a light blue. I’ve found this scarf with lots of print options HERE. If you want to add that extra print or color, a light silk scarf is a great option in place of a necklace for a change.

My rust-colored dress is a few years old from Mango, so here is an alternative for you. You all know I love the rust shades and these warm tones are just perfect for Fall. Lastly, I’m wearing my Bruno Magli cognac sandals that are very elegant and just perfect with the mix of Autumnal tones.

In conclusion, if you are in a warmer climate, try transitioning to Fall with warm Autumnal colors, be it in your outfit or accessories.
