23 Jan More Green for 2017-One of My Favorite Winter “Uniforms”
Hello friends!
I hope you all had a great weekend. Our weather here is so duplicitous! I talked about Pantone’s Color of the Year HERE, last week, a bright green shade. I am wearing more green today, as I love so many shades of green and this is one of my favorite sweaters. I also enjoy wearing boots and think it is one of the most fun things about Winter, so I am taking advantage and wearing my Vera Wang leather OTK boots with my black tweed mini from Loft. Thus, one of my staple “Uniforms” for Fall-Winter.
I love the details! From the bow in the back to the bows, ruffles and stitching in the front, this sweater was a great find. I have jackets and sweaters from Anthro that I love wearing as they have such great details they are unique. I have had this tweed mini in my closet for awhile and still enjoy wearing it. What makes at item catch your eye? For me, it is color, but also detail. Finely woven lace, tweed, elegant brocade, bows, embroidery, all making an item special and unique. I often love to wear textured or patterned tights to elevate a look.
Do you consider what you like to wear the most when you dress in the morning and are there pieces that you often put together? I love to take a statement jacket or sweater+mini skirt+OTK boots. This is one combination I put together in the winter months. Where someone’s jeans and tee or jeans and comfy sweater+ sneakers may be their “uniform” I find this even more comfortable.
What is your typical “uniform” this season?
Outfit details:
Vera Wang OTK leather boots, Love these, great price, these
Anthropologie sweater ( last year, love this detailed one)( love this)
Loft Tweed skirt ( old, but love this Ann Taylor one)
Zara brocade handbag ( no longer in stock, another style)
I look forward to seeing you tomorrow for Turning Heads Tuesday LINKUP ! If you are not familiar with a linkup, look here. It is a gathering where bloggers share their fashion. You don’t have to be a blogger to enjoy perusing through the fashions.

Posted at 23:24h, 23 JanuaryThis sweater is so feminine and cute. And a beautiful color as well. I should be very careful with the green color. I look sick in some shades. So I will see if more green will be allowed in my wardrobe. o) Thank you for sharing this post with My Red Carpet.
