Hello friends!I hope you all had a great weekend. Our weather here is so duplicitous! I talked about Pantone's Color of the Year HERE, last week, a bright green shade. I am wearing more green today, as I love so many shades of green and this is one of my favorite sweaters. I also enjoy wearing boots and think it is one of the most fun things about Winter, so I am taking advantage and wearing my Vera Wang leather OTK boots with my black tweed mini from Loft. Thus, one of my staple "Uniforms" for Fall-Winter.I love the details!...
Hello friends!Hope you had a great weekend. It was a busy one, as I voted early, went to the Opthamologist and got a new script for my glasses, and enjoyed Verde, a Mexican restaurant that is only 10 minutes from us. We still are loving the "taste of New Mexico" so I tried the least spiciest dish on the menu, and had a very good Agave Nectar Margarita! Sunday we went and saw " Dr Strange" with one of my favorite's Benedict Cumberbatch! woo-wee! It was great!Today I am wearing one of my favorite colors for fall ( perhaps I say this a lot) olive green. I decided to take this sweater dress( again, an easy dress to wear in the fall) and layer it with this menswear brown plaid vest. I have shared some looks with this vest or similar, over the year in the spring ( worn with jeans), last fall ( with a mini skirt and menswear booties) and now, with this look that has a bit of feminine and masculine in it.

Hello Ladies!So here were are at 2016, and what I feel to be the slowest time of the year. I do though enjoy the cold, bundling at night with the pups in their little round fur balls, or lying by the fireplace with hot cocoa in hand. This is about the time I may actually be able to wear my winter coat out, and realize that perhaps I don't need 3 or 4 coats here in Charlotte, because it only gets cold enough for one maybe 2 months out of the year. Only a few weeks ago was it almost 70 degrees, but has now dipped to about 50. I soon hope to share with you my vintage inspired Boden pink coat, as it is finally getting cold enough. My closet has more leather jackets than wool coats due to this climate, but I could not resist this vintage swing coat in leopard.

Hello Ladies!First, let's talk hair. I think we all love our hair to suit our coloring, personality, style . Last week, for Turning heads Tuesday, it was a more red- darker copper. When my stylist, who is awesome, did my hair, as to eliminate my greys, more copper was added to my red hair. I am used to my golden -red or gold copper look, and thought it was too dark for me.
