10 Oct Jambu Collaboration- The Waywood Fall Shoe-Style and Comfort
Hello friends!
Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. It rained Friday and Saturday all day, with Sunday leaving us with sunshine and cool weather. We had to take advantage of it! We went to a new-old part of town, one of the historic districts and enjoyed Brunch at a pretty hip place! My inner 12 year old girl comes out when I can bring the pups and the place is Dog -Friendly. I decided I was going to make my rounds while I wait for breakfast and approach each cute puppy and their owner and ask “May I pet your puppy?” I just cant help myself. I am drawn to dogs! Anyhow, it turned out to be a lovely place we enjoyed. A New Adventure. Speaking of “adventure”, I am here to tell you about the company I have collaborated with ( now the 3rd time) that is all about day to day adventure, JAMBU.
I am here today to tell you about this new fall shoe from Jambu, the Waywood. It is a beautifully crafted burgundy leather shoe with a floral cut-out and wedge heel. The thick heel is so on trend, and is great for stability. I loved that these were remniscent of an oxford shoe with flair! I will wear these shoes with flared jeans, various textured tights and mini skirts. The chunky shoe look is also a trend that has surfaced for fall. Jambu makes fabulous quality shoes, and I can tell you this from experience! I have collaborated with them twice, reviewing different gladiator sandals HERE and HERE.
The color is a rich burgundy in leather, and this shoe, the Waywood, comes in brown and burgundy. I have several pairs of booties and now several pairs of shoes in this color. I never tire of it though. Looks great with so many rich shades in the fall- pumpkin, mustard, rust, teal, black , brown, camel. It really is more of a neutral. I can picture these shoes with a pair of wide legged plaid pants, mustard turtleneck, or perhaps a grey suede jumper with black turtleneck, pine green bag… Just fashionable thoughts. Today, however, I am styling these adorable wedged shoes with a 1940’s vintage inspired dress in burgundy, cream tan and black.I could not wait to take out my faux fur stole, it was time! Or else my lack of patience, that made me do it. My little city bag in floral jacquard provided a pattern mixing opportunity and added to the richness of the outfit.
Jambu is about adventure. The company strives to look at each daily experience as an adventure. Along with the sturdy construction of their shoes, each shoe is fitted with a Memory Foam foot bed, which makes them truly stand out. Who doesn’t appreciate comfortable heels and style?
I am ready for an Adventure as we head to Taos, NM this week!
These shoes were gifted to me by JAMBU. All opinions are truthful and my own. ***

Posted at 09:34h, 11 OctoberJess, those shoes are gorgeous. I love how they’ve been able to design a chunky/comfortable shoe and give it a unique feminine flare. Will have to check out their site. The the whole outfit in general is spectacular. Love the vintage-y floral print of the dress. And, as usual, you are the master of accessorizing!

Posted at 23:26h, 10 OctoberHi Elle! I will pop over to see you tomorrow. I always appreciate your comments. Thanks so much. I want to experiment more with pattern mixing this fall, so it was fun with the bag and dress. The shoes are great, made well! I cant stand long in them, but fine for hanging out . We tend to take our pups lots of places, so it is fun when they are dog-friendly! Have a great week! xx
