Turning Heads linkup- The Jambu Amal Bootie for Fall

Hello friends,

Jambu. Sounds like a dance right? What would you have guessed if you didn’t know the Brand? Well, because there is a good ring to the name, and because it sounds like a dance, I think it is very aprapo, especially when you wear their shoes/boots and you “could” dance… they are that comfortable! Today I am talking about a booties called the AMAL.

Also, for my READERS KEEP IN MIND , YOU CAN GET 20% OFF AT JAMBU, WITH CODE STYLISH17.

I am quite thrilled to be a Brand Ambassador for Jambu, as it makes me feel like I have come a long way. 10 years ago, I could have been a Brand Ambassador for SERTA, as i was spending lots of time in bed from my condition. Now, I am able to walk more, move more, and enjoy being outside. That is what i love about the company too. Their image is about being involved, participating in life! These are the boots I brought to Asheville to walk around in.

***And on that note, I am in Asheville, NC all this week as we celebrate my nephew’s wedding. My mom rented a house for the family in the mountains and we are spending time together doing all kinds of activities as well as just relaxing in this amazing house. I know there will are things planned, but at night, i plan on taking full advantage of the hot tub! 🙂

This will be my one post for the week, taking a break from all things computer. I may post on IG and Instastories only, follow me there. We will be going to the Biltmore, touring the Sierra Nevada Brewery, eating very well in Asheville’s restaurants in addition to attending the wedding. I know it will take me some recoup time when i get back, but I will share some about our trip when i return.

Since my time here, I will be running a bit behind on comments for the blog this week. I will do my best to catch up when I return. Thank you all for your lovely comments each week! i really appreciate it.

Well, I am bringing to you today a pair of boots that, when I saw them, I thought “70s cool’, the AMAL.  The black I  am wearing is a bit more subdued or subtle than the wine or brown which has stripes of bronze, gold, brown. The black with its stripes of grey and silver caught my eye and I always love the rich, soft leather. The ankle bootie is such a versatile part of the wardrobe, as I will wear these with dresses, jeans and trousers. These are some comfortable booties!

Here are the details for the AMAL:

  • Full grain tumble leather/kid suede/metallic shimmer leather upper
  • SATRA (the independent testing organization and technical authority for footwear and leather) certified water resistant
  • Partially recycled rubber All-Terra outsole
  • Memory foam footbed
  • Heel Height: 2.16 in heel with a 1/2 in platform

I could picture these with a pair of plaid flat front trousers, or grey jeans with a blush sweater. Black booties with some spunk. I have several pairs of black booties in my closet, but they all have different features making them all unique. You have seen the Chelsea boot with Italian leather, a streamlined, block heeled bootie called the ANITA and now these with their eye catching stripes, the AMAL, both from JAMBU.

I decided to style these today with a soft light grey sweater dress and my light pink moto jacket from MANGO. I love the textured design on the sweater dress I have wanted some fishnets since last Fall and decided to wear them with these leather booties. Keeping with the black, grey and pink color scheme, I am carrying my Rebecca Minkoff Bag in Smog.

( even my boy Gibby is color coordinated in his black and grey scarf ! )

I wanted to share the stylish neckline with you, but i would also like to add a scarf to this look.

I am running a bit behind now with comments, but will play a bit of catch-up when i return!

Those Jambu Amal booties are gorgeous, Jess, especially with the colour-blocked heels. I’m particularly drawn to the Wine pair 🙂 not to say your outfit isn’t stunning on its own, friend. The soft grey with that equally divine pink of your moto jacket = match made in heaven.

p/s where I come from, Jambu is a fruit, the water apple 🙂

Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style. We could really dress from each other’s closet if you weren’t tall and I weren’t petite. I so would wear the gray knit dress, the pink leather jacket and yes, I love fishnets!

    Hello, Jess.

Good day! I like how you paired the boots with a netted stocking. It looks so funky and fun in a good way. What’s nice about boots is that we don’t have to sacrifice comfort in order to look good.

    Jess,
You are looking so beautiful in this sweater dress and pink leather jacket. I do love the boots and am so happy for you that you are a new brand ambassador. That was a funny comment about the mattress company. LOL. I can so relate. I am very glad that you are feeling well and looking so chic. ❤️🌸❤️🌸

Great color combination. Your soft grey sweater dress has the prettiest details – I just love the smocking. This looks great with the fishnets and cool boots. Have fun in Asheville! It’s such a cool and beautiful area. I lived there for a couple of years while growing up and we always enjoy going back and visiting.
