Hi Ladies,
“No really I have enough shoes- Said no girl EVER. ” Have you ever heard anyone make this remark.? This does not apply to husbands.. just to the women who wear shoes. Ten years ago, my closet consisted of sneakers and some flats with orthotics. At the beginning of my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome journey, I had so much sensitivity and pain in my legs that the thought of buying shoes was not on my mind. I just wanted something that didn’t kill my feet. I am happy to say, that now I have more of a shoe collection, ones that are comfortable shoes AND stylish, and much of the pain in my legs and feet is dissipated, making me able to wear a variety of shoes. I have one word for you ladies- Jambu.
Today I am talking about one of my favorite shoe companies: Jambu. If I am wanting to reach for my most comfortable pair of shoes in my closet, it is by Jambu. If you need a reminder, I have collaborated with them HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE . Are you at the point in life where you aren’t going to wear shoes that are just good looking but you can’t wait to take them off?
I was thrilled when Jambu reached out to me, as I have built a relationship with the company and I refer people to their shoes if one is looking for comfort and style. I was asked to be a Brand Ambassador for Jambu and I happily accepted!
This means I will be bringing you more styles and selection from their Fall Line of shoes to choose from and you also as a reader will get 20% off any FULL PRICED SHOES with CODE : STYLISH17. This CODE IS GOOD FROM NOW UNTIL MID DECEMBER.
Today I am wearing a pair of shoes I wasn’t sure I would be able to wear. Believe me, 10 yrs ago, I couldn’t have imagined it. However, even though I deal with pain every day, it is managed, and I am more functional these days. My journey back into the shoe world was “baby steps” as I bought shoes with 1 and 2 inch block heels.
Let me say, that I don’t stand in these shoes for long and I may wear a heel when going out with my husband or friends for lunch, dinner, movies, more sedentary events. However, it was quite a step for me to even be able to wear a shoe out with a heel. They are very comfortable, so I can wear them to walk to those type of outings.
I was initially given shoes from the Jambu line to choose. So, when selecting my first pair of Fall Jambu shoes, I saw the Canary. Much like the bird, I wanted to sing! Yes! I could see this beautiful suede plum colored shoe in the Fall with denim, or worn with textured tights as I love to wear. How can I wear these shoes? Well, Jambu makes all of their shoes with the most cushioned Memory Foam and that detail makes their shoes feel as comfortable as sneakers. In addition, the thick block heel makes them easy to walk in. They also have a rubber platform for more stability.
“Soft, premium leather gives the Canary a chic silhouette. The wide ankle strap supports your ankle and dual-density insoles keep you comfortable. This modern block heel with a bit of an attitude is a worthy addition to any shoe collection.”
Other features I love in this shoe is the foot bed is rounded as opposed to pointed making it roomy for my feet. The rich Fall color is fantastic, and the velcro ankle strap makes for a comfortable fit. I do have to adjust it tighter as I have skinny ankles. Don’t you see these with flares? The velcro ankle strap is thick and is attractive accentuating your leg. The sole part of the shoe has a lug sole giving more support.
Here are the details for the Canary shoe. It does come in this Plum Suede and also Black Leather color.
- Premium calf leather upper; plum colorway is premium kid suede
- Partially recycled rubber All-Terra outsole
- Memory foam footbed
- Hook and loop closure
I also want to mention, Jambu has new Fall Arrivals that do not have this type of heel. The shoes all are fitted with a memory foam foot bed, come in luscious Fall colors and different styles- booties, tall boots and shoes. See the New FALL ARRIVALS HERE. There are also 3 divisions to Jambu- JBU and JSport.
Today I decided to wear my last month’s purchase from Loft. I had been looking for a denim skirt for quite a while and love the style button down, a-line and a very soft denim. Most of the jean skirts I was seeing were either too short, looked eaten up by the family pet ( too much distressing) or not my style. I would add a pair of textured tights with this skirt, shoes and sweater/jacket in the fall.
My floral blouse is from Banana Republic, and the red/burgundy coloring against the bright white, along with the large flutter sleeves caught my eye. I added my pale gray Rebecca Minkoff bag for a transitioning to Fall look.
As the Fall months go on, I will be introducing you to other styles.
Tell me what shoes or boots you like in the Jambu Fall collection?
Oufit details: Top: Banana Republic, Skirt- LOFT, bag- Rebecca Minkoff, Canary shoes c/o Jambu
c/o- these shoes were gifted to me by Jambu. All opinions are my own and trufthful.

September 6, 2017 at 5:34 pmThose shoes are gorgeous! I love the style and the colour, perfect for fall. I’ve got to the point where I can’t wear pointy shoes or high, thin heels – bunions and knee pains from running have put paid to that! The sleeves on your blouse are fabulous! Lovely outfit 🙂
