October’s Favorite Fall Looks

IMG_9259

Hello Ladies!

I hope everyone had a fun Halloween, and it is hard for me to believe it is November already. I love the Holidays, and I remember in my 20s , I used to buy my Christmas gifts and have them wrapped in my closet by now! Well, things have slowed down a bit, and I am not that organized, and found that it really didn’t help me to buy early, i would just find things and continue to buy closer to the Holidays!  So I would spend more money. So, I take them as they come and like to enjoy each as they come. I thought I would just share with you my favorite October looks from the blog in case you missed them 🙂

Fall is my favorite time for clothes, as I love the rich colors and textures , as well as many seem to go well with my hair and complexion.

So HERE ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE FALL LOOKS FROM OCTOBER.

Inspired by the bronze Sylca Jewelry, and the Zara distressed brown booties, I wanted to create a look with many fall colors. A menswear look with a “feminine touch! Check out the post HERE.

You all know I love many green colors, and this pine green palette with lace and leather is right up my alley. I love a romantic look.

Though a relatively simple outfit, the mix of all black with a pop of color, in this case a rich ruby red with outstanding lace and scallop details, really puts light on the skirt. Try this sometime, a great pop of color and all black can really emphasize the color you are looking to stand out. Read about this post HERE.

Whether trendy or not, I have always loved a great sweater dress. Talk about comfort! This Banana Republic sweater dress is a light grey in color, paired with my favorite pair of leather Over the Knee boots. OTK boots are very popular every season, and this fall is no exception. They give that extra va-va voom to any outfit and are great proportionally with mini skirts. In this post, I added a maroon leather moto jacket for color as well. Read more about the post HERE.

I love being able to take a spring dress and wear it year round with some changes. I added this deep rich purple velvet blazer to the dress and changed up the shoes and accessories. I have a love for velvet and it is on trend this year too. See more on this post HERE.

HOPE YOU ENJOYED MY PICKS! WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE?

So many great looks in October, Jess. My favorite were the entire Hunter Green outfit and the one with the burgundy lace skirt.

Jess, it is great to see this round-up. It reminds me of how skillful you are at turning every piece into a feminine and stylish look. Only you could make OTK boots look so elegant (still sexy, yes…but just so chic too). i am not going to try and pick a favourite…impossible!
You made me laugh talking about being so organised for Christmas. That is normally me, too….. not this year though! I fear I may end up on a last-minute dash and end up with a pile of rubbish. I must get more organised! Thank you for the reminder.
