Hello Ladies

This post is going to be short but sweet. Hubby, Gibson and Truffles are going to the mountains. Asheville, a beautiful place where the Blue Ridge Parkway has miles and miles of scenic views. Where art and music are a mainstay. A laid back nature is mandatory. I hope to share with you some of my trip, places we go, food we eat, and fun to be had. I want to go tubing!

In the meantime, today I have a post with a casual vibe. I hope to pair these shorts with a mixed pattern another time, but today loved the look of a vibrant orchid colored peplum top. I am a fan of peplum, as one can wear this sleeveless, or depending on what you one is comfortable with, put a button down collared top under it. The shorts in peach, pink, and orchid caught my eye because of the colors. I don’t own alot of summer plaid

The cushy Clark artisan sandals are very versatile and can be worn with anything. For an even more casual look, I paired them with slip ons in a fun pink/tan snakeskin print,  well trust me 🙂

This is a view of “Hot Springs” a beautiful area, near Asheville  that not to hilly so I can walk on it. This picture was taken last time we were there.

    Love the “casual” outfit, but you are such a refined person, you always add a touch of elegance to whatever you wear. Love the peplum top whit it, it really adds some polish as well as being another gorgeous color for you!

      Aww you are too sweet. I appreciate it. I do like to wear shorts when it is this hot, today is the last Hot day here in the mountains, and then the rest of our trip will be around 80, When we hike it will be even cooler. The pups are being sooo good, they went into a winery for wine tasting ( us not the pups) and didnt make a peep! Have a wonderful week dear friend! xx

    Love peplum tops, they’re so flattering. Plaid is one of my favourite prints, not sure I’ve seen it in a pair of shorts before. You look great!

    Jessica, I am day-dreaming about needing to wear shorts and a cute outfit like this!
    Unfortunately, I would freeze to death in 10 minutes…it’s only 60 of your degrees here (otherwise known as 16)…and its actually warmer today than it has been.
    At least we have sun!
