Yes, ladies, it is hard to believe it is now 2015, and we have to continually remember that for our blogs, writing checks, and just life! Another year has pasts and this is the time everyone starts to think of New Years Resolutions. Do you do this, or are you one that just tries for goals and such throughout the year? Well, since it is the Friday after the New Year, I thought I would show you one of the things that Santa brought.
We are headed out to see the movie Foxcatcher, a movie about wrestling and John DuPont, acted by Steve Corell who we all know from ‘The Office”. Not one we think of when we think of drama, but I think he can be versatile as an actor. There are several movies I want to see now, The Hobbit and The Theory of Everything, about Steven Hawking are some. So, I decided to wear some plaid, and a vintage cardigan I found on Etsy. I only own a few pieces of plaid, and this mini skirt, I have had for years, has stood the test of time. I loved the red in it, and decided to pair it with a cardigan with silver beaded adornment on the collar. Sounds familiar huh? It is just that type of detail I like, that changes it from a plain grey cardigan to something more special.
I asked for over the knee boots, as I have liked them on bloggers since last year, when they were a trend as well. These are Vera Wang Larissa stylke from her Lavendar Collection, sold at Bloomingdales, Saks..I love the super soft lambs leather, and the slight heel that is practically flat, but adds a bit of support. The handsome man is my husband in the last picture. He is usually behind the camera, but since he is sporting a new outfit, complete with new black brogues ( oxfords), I convinced him. Santa brought him the new shoes and these really cool pair of grey skinny jeans. If you knew my husband, you know that skinny jeans were not a part of his vocabulary until I came on board, and guess what, ” he likes em!”
Are there any movies you saw over the Holidays, Ones you want to see? How do you feel about over the knee boots?
