img_9925Hello friends! Hope you had a great weekend. I did early voting, so if you can, get out and vote.  Hard to believe we are already in November and the Christmas commercials are playing on TV, all of the Holiday stockings and gift wrap etc, has been in stores for a bit now, and I start thinking about my holiday list for Gifts.  Happy that I was able to pick up a couple in New Mexico, and will also be giving more "framed gifts" this year for family as well. I am already thinking of the "family portrait" with the pups in their Santa Suits. In addition to today's velvet look, you can view other posts with me wearing velvet  HERE and HERE.

img_9789img_9802Hello Friends,I know you are interested in hearing about my trip to Taos, NM and SantaFe. It was amazing!  Let me put it on hold for a day, as I want to bring you my outfit featuring my gray suede blazer from Chadwicks of Boston. Fall is my favorite month for styling and wearing clothes. Can I get an " Amen!" I love the rich textures, colors, styles and trends that make up my fall wardrobe and I am always looking for classic pieces to add to it for some extra style. When I was asked to choose something from their Fall line, I went directly toward the leather and suede items as they always appear chic to me and are very in style.

img_8915img_8925img_8932Happy Monday Ladies,I find it hard to believe we are getting near October. Charlotte will experience Fall eventually, as the end of October presents a cooler air and some changing leaves.  As much as I like wine, I look forward to some of the Octoberfest festivities in the area. We also have a trip planned for October I will tell you about later. Today, I am bringing to you , my collaboration with Eco-friendly company, Aventura. When they first contacted me, I went straight for the dresses, as I wanted a comfortable fall dress I could wear on the plane, and around Taos, NM. This is right on trend with the Athleisure-wear this Fall. I will wear this with a pair of burgundy leather slip on sneakers for that particular look.

IMG_9767Hello Ladies... its almost the weekend! Is this week going fast?Let's just say hubby was being "artsy-fartsy" here with the sun behind my head. I suppose one has to experiment from time to time. I just love all of the leaf colors and it was a good day to take pics. I do find that some days I just have a tough time focusing on a task at hand, as I won't get into it too much, but it has been the second time in  2 months since I have gone out for "fun". EDS can do that to me sometimes. Anyhow, two of the best things that came out of EDS was Gibson and Truffles my pups.  Tell you more about them in the post, but I was in a faux leather skirt mood kind of a day. I have a few in my closet, and this one from Ann Taylor in a chocolate brown really lent itself to styling with some teal tones and soft velvet textures.

IMG_9793IMG_9784Happy #turningheadtuesday! LadiesGlad to see you here. I had a good time going out with the pups and hubby , this week and we took photos, even though I thought I was going to be blown away! Who needs fans when the wind is blowing at 65 miles an hour! Well, my hair went  here, there and everywhere. The meal was so good though! It was great to get out and I enjoyed a Malbec with a delicious portobello mushroom, roasted red pepper, pesto, and Guyere cheese sandwich on Chibatta bread. So.. tasty! I love my veggie sandwiches.! I had to laugh though as we were the only ones sitting outside with the dogs at 4:00 in the afternoon. I admit I am a wimp when it comes to wind and cold, but here in the South, it is nothing like my hometown of PA, so I dont complain!

Hello Ladies!I began to create a monochromatic look today, inspired by burgundy or wine shades, but then thought of the color combination I liked together, navy and burgundy. I began with a monochromatic look with the dark burgundy  skinny leggings by Zara, and one of my favorite jackets that I "stole the  stole"  from for my outfit last week. Tweed is one of my favorite fabrics for fall, and this jacket and its feminine shape was my choice of the day. I took out my pointy croc boots, you have seen and I have worn plenty of times so far...
