 Morning FriendsIt was one of those  semi-relaxing weekends along with errands and blog work. We visited our favorite wine bar, The Cottage, where the pups are more than welcome - and the "fur"-niture is equally dog friendly. We began going to The Cottage years ago, as it is beside one of our favorite restaurants on the Lake, North Harbour Club. We popped in on a whim one afternoon, looking for a cute place to sit and have just a glass of wine and enjoy the view of the harbour and various boats.The staff is so welcoming, we now tell the pups we are going to Grandma Trudys or to see Aunt Theresa.  What? You don't talk to your dogs? :-)  Regardless, it was a beautiful, cool night, with temps in the 70s and low humidity, and I would wear a very casual striped midi dress I bought from Target about 3 years ago.

Morning Friends-Hubby, pups and I decided to take a trip down to Freedom Park for this photo shoot. It is near one of the more popular green ways and often where my hubby walks the puppies while I am in PT. Not fair, I know.. me getting needled while he enjoys the outdoors! Anyway, I have had this Zara linen off white shirt dress for a few weeks and wanted to put together a look with neutrals. Good Morning!Happy Memorial Day! I hope you are enjoying the day with your family. Maybe a cookout or just hanging out, and perhaps a jump in the pool. Our pool opened May 1st here, but I know many open on Memorial Day, making the official start of summer. I also listed some SALES going on now for Memorial Day. These are brands or stores in which i shop, and there are some good deals!I know not all ladies like to wear shorts in the warmer weather. I enjoy wearing them from time to time , and will show some styles on the blog, but as an alternative, how about a denim skirt? I shared this item as one of the 10 Spring Staples for Your Closet, and do enjoy wearing mine throughout the Spring and Summer months.  Basically, a cooler version of jeans. I just can't wear jeans in the summer.. the thought of the denim sticking to my legs does not appeal to me. So, I choose dresses, shorts, skirts- included this A-line button down denim skirt I bought last summer at Loft.
