THT- Fall Pantone Colors 2024 and Some of My Looks

If you read my blog, you know I love Fall and Fall Fashion. Here are the Pantone Colors for Fall 2024.

Fall is always my favorite time of year for fashion and for just the coolness of the season. The heat has died down ,and there is a crispness in the air.

Here are the color pallettes from Fall/Winter 2024-2025 in NYFW.

What colors are you excited about?

New York Pantone Colors 2024/5

Take a look at these shades and tell me which ones you are excited about? Do you have these in your closet? I will say, since I am an “Autumn”, I do love a rich color palette. This green, “Adventure” is in my closet, courtesy of Clara Sunwoo, which I will share soon on here, but in the meantime, look at how I styled their hunter green liquid leather jacket.

Golden Path is a favorite of mine, with a gold velvet blazer being a favorite and a crew neck easy top in this shade of golden yellow. I have most of these colors above, with the exception of Winter Sky and Lucent White, which seems to have a grey blue cast to it. The dark plum is on an outfit I just bought and styled, mixed with an olive green .Tomato Cream is a brown-orange shade, and a soft Fall tone- think of sweaters, tops, boots. h

New York’s Core CLassics

Do you have some of these staples?> I have a few chocolate brown, when that was the one of the “IT” colors last Fall, but this sable-brown is softer and lighter. All of these neutrals work so well together, and the Buckhorn brown has a bit more brown than yellow, so kind of a spicy mustard, right? Creams and all of these shades can work so well together, as does Navy or “Baritone Blue”. It certainly hits the right notes with fashion and mixing together cream and navy is such a classic combo!

And London’s color schemes for this year:

London Pantone Shades

Do you prefer the NYFW or London Pantone shades? These shades determine what is on the runway and in stores. You know I would love some “Pureed Pumpkin” and do have some pieces in my closet that share that color. Rainforest is a darker Hunter green that is taking up some closet real estate. The cooler tones of Cherry Tomato, Starlight Blue, Wave Ride, and Storm Front, are not my best choices, as with fair skin and auburn hair, I need warmer tones. Do keep this in mind if you have similar skin tone and hair.

Iguana, a lighter olive green certainly appeals, and the rest are similar to our core colors with some of these shades just being a little darker. Navy is though being shown and just works well as a classic neutral, and an alternative to black.

Here are some of my fashion examples using these colors from the Pantone Institute.

Oh, girl, all of these colors are going to be perfection on you with that pretty coloring and hair. I am a green girl so that aventurine – spelling? – is calling my name. Love a rich, deep green. And a sage and an olive. But the earth colors – the browns, oranges, and purples are beautiful, too. I don’t need a single thing to wear but I love having a few pieces in the ‘hot’ colors each season. Hadn’t seen these color palettes.. So glad you shared.

I love all of the outfits you are showing here. They are perfect for your colouring. This time of year is one of my favourites because of the rich colours and fabrics..

    Hi Jess,

Loving these fall pallets. I am a Bright Spring that recently had my bright firey red hair turn cinnamon and sugar. So I am more a strawberry blond now. I have almost all the shades of green as I do wear a lot of the Autumn season colors well, I just have to watch my olives as I am a bit to bright for some of those shades. The plums and browns I also have a great deal of and will be wearing as well. I also have a lot of pumplin and warm tomato in my wardrobe. And the teal, one of my very best shades!

Loving all the looks you put together and your style.

This was a fun read! You know I love all colors, but I definitely prefer the NYFW Pantone palette over the London one. Like you, I have all of those colors in my closet except for Winter Sky. I’m not sure about Lucent White, I probably have that in there, too. Green is always my favorite color and I love the aventurine shade chosen this year. But recently, I am really drawn to rich shades of orange with Red Orange being a current favorite. All of your outfits represent these colors so well. I really like all the greens, of course!

Most of the colors are indeed for those seasonally coded Autumn, so they will suit you very well! Nothing very suitable for a spring sadly, but I’m used to having trouble finding my best colors in fall and winter. Love the outfits you’ve shown! xx

A beautiful array of outfits Jess. The green 3 piece is my kind of co-ordinate; it looks stylish, chic, creasefree and supremely comfortable! What else could you ask for and perfect as a travel choice.
