20 Aug THT- New Co-Ord Set – Preview for Fall
What I love about this fabulous co-ord set of shirt and skirt is that I will have plenty of mixing and matching opportunities for my closet, and this outfit was under $60!
I am just craving burgundy and olive this Fall, so I got the best of both worlds with this look. Yesterday, I posted about a combination of green and pink I was wearing for summer, this is the same concept, except darker for Fall.
The Outfit
Mango has clothes up to 70% off and this was a bargain set. I love the longer skirt and will have various tops and jackets to wear with them, just as I will have chinos, trousers and jeans to wear with the shirt. The denim skirt is not going away soon, so that is another option to pair with the blouse. Both pieces are on sale, but there are limited sizes. The Tressje handbag is an oldie but goodie and the colors were just perfect together. I will have more on what I will be taking to Spain, but these might make the cut, to mix and match.
The pointed toe cream kitten heels elongate the leg and pick up the cream in the outfit.
What’s Going On?
Besides doing some early shopping for Fall, with discounts or Poshmark of course, I am quite busy. We are helping my mom look into 55+ active communities, as she may be moving here. I have 2 other siblings who live here, and we do think about who would check in on her if something were to happen. There is no one in Pittsburgh, so we have been busy looking at apartments and communities.
Summer wouldn’t be summer without my hubby and I paddleboarding and kayaking. I love the peace and serenity of quiet being out on the lake. Another thing I love about summer is eating al fresco as well as listening to live outdoor music. We recently saw Sammy Hagar, and at 76, he was rockin’ the house!
I’ve also been busy with the shelter and it is so hard not to take home a pack of dogs! I fall in love with them! It has been something I wanted to do for years, and it is so fulfilling.

Posted at 16:18h, 20 AugustLove this co-ord on you, Jess. The bag and shoes finish the outfit perfectly. Burgundy is one of my favourite colours too, such a rich colour for the fall/winter season. Love an insight into how you are spending your summer days – all things my other half and I love, bar the paddleboarding, it’s something we don’t do a lot of, great exercise though so we should! Hope you find your mum somewhere great that she will love nearby.
