01 May Trending Now: Bucket Bags and Quirky Clutches

We all know the 70s craze is here with all of the fringe going on. Another trend right now is the “bucket bag”, as it shape resembles a “Bucket” ! How about that! The ingenuity! These bags are just about everywhere and seem a fun alternative to a satchel or larger hobo bag. Big enough to throw one’s daily necessities into the bag, they can add color and shape to your outfit. If you carry the kitchen sick in your purse, the “bucket bag” may not be for you.

Another trend that has been around for months is the quirky clutch. We have seen Chanel NO 5 bottles disguised as clutches, and now there are gardening water cans,  soda drinks and so many other “fun” designs, I think they depend on how seriously one takes themselves. I could see this Kate Spade clutch being a fun reminder of either I am a “Crab” in the morning, or perhaps I am in a bar, ( in the imaginary world when I was single) and  a guy came up to me to ask..”Hey, babe, What’s your sign?” Well,  I would be able to look down at my very usefull clutch and say, “Cancer” my sign is cancer!….

Perhaps gardening is a hobby of yours, but you have been sick lately or  just coming back from vacation. The garden needs tending. You leave early in the morning, getting ready to start your day with a smile. You look down at the outfit you have picked out, to now be accompanied by your new Kate Spade Watering can clutch It saved your day!! You forgot the roses and hydrangeas have not been watered, so off you go to nurture your plants.

See, these bags are much more than accessories! Mere adornments for our arms! They serve a purpose. So if you just have a fun and quirky personality or want that reminder, these clutches are the ones to try.
