Turning Heads Linkup- Boho Style with Love Kyla Kimono

hi friends!

Today I am sharing my second look under the Caite brand. They sent me three items to review and this embroidered kimono was one of them. If you missed yesterday’s colorful tunic, click HERE.

Love Kyla

This is one of 3 labels under the Caite brand. Love Kyla has tops, kimonos, dresses and more and is made for ladies who love unique pieces that are made with quality in mind.

This Myra kimono caught my eye with the detailed embroidery, stitching and of course the rustic colors. Tans, rusts, purples, are just part of the color scheme.

The flowy bohemian style is indicative of this brand, and the silky material feels as light as a feather. It is a style that is “fuller than expected” with a more billowy style than fitted. But that is the kimono style here. I am wearing a Small, as by the size chart, but could have also worn the XS. I didn’t want the sleeves to be too short though.

I wore a rust cotton tank under my new kimono and chose white shorts to keep the focus on the kimono. Hmmm, see a theme? Yesterday I wore the print with white jeans. I love the piece to “pop” and up against the white it does just that.

The key is, as I mentioned yesterday, if you have a fuller top, or jacket, you want the bottom to balance. This would look great transitioning to Fall, with some dark skinny jeans and a pair of booties.

I chose 3 items from the Caite brand and will feature another blouse on here or  on Instagram. Please follow me there if you don’t already.

This stunning piece is light, flowy and the colors are fabulous!

If you love this print, but want something other than a kimono, they have a beautiful blouse and a button down tunic as well.

On a side note, if you are diggin’ how curly my hair is, I used my new Remington hot rollers, mentioned in the post- Summer Beauty Products I am Loving. They were only $20!

I wrote on Friday that I am trying to titrate off a medication. I am sure I am being tested! Boy, it is tough. But on a brighter note, we went to my sisters for dinner on Sunday and my niece, whom you met, had her 9th birthday party! I saw she admired my rattan circle bag, so I bought her one and some pearl hair accessories. Good times!

In August we will be going to Bark in the Ballpark and that is when you can bring your dog to the Knight’s baseball game. Not until the end of the month, but sounds like fun! Later this month or early next, we are planning on renting a boat to take out for the day on Lake Norman. I do appreciate just where we live, and sometimes it feels like a resort. Lots to be grateful for!

I love the gold stitching in these Andre Assos sandals c/o, they went perfectly with this kimono.

Do check out the new arrivals on Caite

Do you wear flowy clothing or do you prefer more fitted?

I’d love to hear how you would style this kimono. Tell me in the comments section.

Hi, Jess. We returned from our cruise to the British Isle last week with the flu, so I am playing catch up. Lovely to go to your page to find this beautiful kimono. The colors in this outfit are totally YOUR COLORS! You look amazing in them.

How fun to take your dog to the ballpark! Dogs are such social animals and they love to see other dogs. Even our shelter dog has discovered that he likes to see other dogs! Haha!

    Have a great week,
    xx Darlene
