06 Apr Turning Heads Linkup- Dressing Up Cargo Pants with a Blazer and Spring Scarf

A blazer and statement scarf adds a lot of flair to a pair of cargo pants.

Adding a blazer to your outfit will always elevate the look. I’ve been wearing blazers for awhile, and it always makes me feel quite styled.

Outfit

I bought this structured blazer last year on Nordstrom and it is a Spring staple in my wardrobe. Mine is no longer available, but this double breasted jacket from Nordstrom is eye-catching. This $35 option is pretty as well, from H&M. These cargo pants from Loft are years old, and I enjoy wearing them both casually and dressed up. Remember, you can get 20% off on XCVI with Elegantly20. These XCVI olive cargos are ones I have my eye on.  They are the same as the white pants I wore in this post. I was in the mood to show this dressier look and love the color palette in the scarf, with olives, lilac, red and yellow. I’m wearing a dark olive top under the blazer.

My Chinese Laundry sandals, in ecru, are another staple I find myself grabbing this Spring and Summer. If you are looking for a more casual shoe, an espadrille sandal would look lovely too. Check out Friday’s post, Espadrilles for under $60.

Happenings

I mentioned yesterday we had a lovely Easter Sunday. My mom and I watched Mass, and then we had my sister, neice and her pup Teddy, the tiny chihuahua over to the house for a  delicious Easter meal. We had Pecan encrusted trout with perogies and asparagus amongst other sides.

This week is busy for doctors appointments, as it seems as if everyone is now scheduling the appointments they missed during Covid . We also have our second vaccine on the 8th. It is a good feeling!

We are going to head to South Mountain, a beautiful hiking area on Wednesday, for a picnic, and a look at the waterfalls. I do love the outdoors!
