Happy Monday ladies!

Did you enjoy the weekend? We did meet with a friend and celebrated with some excellent Mexican food and margaritas. No match to the margaritas from Taos, but what can you expect? We enjoyed a bit of Cinco de Mayo fun.

I mentioned I was a bit taken with linen over the past couple of years. I bought two pair of linen pants to add to my closet for summer and wanted to share these olive Lou and Grey Loft linen pants today. Yes, they pass my personal comfort test- like pjs! Isn’t that the standard?

The Jambu slide-  The Bloom

Excuse the unmanicured toes- I’m getting on that soon. I need a day of pampering a bit and I tend to get it all done at once. Eyebrows threaded, gel pedicure and hair coming up this week. We are going to the inlaws in Harleysville at the end of the month, and I like to look my best. 🙂 Not only that, we all need a bit of pampering here and there right? It was suggested I go for a coral color this week and I may just do that. I tend to go for that or pinks in the hot months.

It has been 85 this week in Charlotte, I think we have moved ahead to summer! Its that time of year you don’t want to wear socks, but rather slide those tootsies into a cool pair of slides. Easy and stylish! These adorable come in 3 color combinations and you all know I am a fan of . I loved this neutral pair of black and taupe and figured it would pair with anything. The other combos are blush/grey and silver/gunmetal if you are looking to add metallics to your summer wardrobe. The all-terrain rubber sole and the memory foam footbed, are, as usual, a delight for your feet~

My Outfit and Jambu for Travels

I’ll be taking these babies with me to the Outer Banks this summer, where we hope to spend a week of RnR. I can also see these poolside. The perfect pair for sitting down by the pool and lounging in your beach chair. You really can’t beat these for walking around on your summer trip either! Any shoes where I nearly forget they are on my feet, certainly mean something! These are that comfortable! I need shoes I can walk around in all day and the memory foam cushion and support let me do that.

As far as the pants, I have been on the hunt, looking for my prey, that being some olive paper-bag pants. Instead, I found this pair of linen olive pants on LOFT’s site, and was smitten. I love the rich olive color and the tie at the waist, plus the fact that they were linen, was all things I were looking for. I know the Lou and Grey line is soft, and since they were 50% off, I pulled the trigger. Happy I did, as they are very comfortable   and I can see me pairing these with many looks this season.  For sizing, I am wearing an XS, I typically go by the size chart.

My cream colored cami is from A New Day, from Target, and I am wearing an XS. I love that it has adjustable straps as I have a long torso too and need the length.
