4 Spring Jackets You Need for Your Closet

Happy Monday! Ill mostly be writing this week about my amazing trip to NYC ( tomorrow)  with Jambu and 4 other bloggers. I came home Friday, after 2 days of a delay because of the snowstorm in the North. So, I am exhausted, sore  and feel like a walking zombie   but … I wanted to put together a post about 4 jackets you would want to own for your Spring wardrobe, because winter weather can’t last forever! I suppose “Need” is a strong word, my hubby would say, so let’s just say, jackets that would look great mixing with your Spring wardrobe! 🙂

As I was reorganizing my closet a few weeks ago, I always take stock of what I may want to add to my closet, and what pieces seem to work over and over. Since I was away, some of  these photos are from prior shoots on the blog, but they demonstrate these favorite jackets that will be workhorses in your closet this Spring. Read 10 Spring Staples for Your Closet, if you missed that!

I have included affiliate links within the post, for shopping choices, as well a few links at the end of the post. *

The Denim Jacket– Although I should have listed this as a must have item with my Spring Closet post, this versatile jacket can be worn with anything. Dresses, skirts jeans and pants all look great with a denim jacket.  There are so many out there with more flair, if you desire- an embroidered version or one with pearl adornment. I myself, love the classic jean jacket.

The White blazer – For Spring or Summer, a crisp white jacket looks beautiful with other whites ( I love the all white looks for spring!) with a tailored pant, jeans. Wear a feminine cami underneath for color, or a striped tee for a casual look. I love this jacket and this jacket

The Floral Jacket- This is my favorite floral jacket from Paper Dolls, with its vivid yet soft almost impressionistic print of pink roses. Kimonos are still big this year, so if you favor a kimono, go for a floral one!

A Moto jacket is a favorite of mine, always great to wear over dresses, giving that extra shape and layer if you are sitting outside, or get chilly in the evening. I love a pastel color for Spring ( trending) or a soft color- a change from black. This is one of my favorite jackets in pink from MANGO. I love this, this and this similiar to mine in powder pink.

Here are a few shopping links you can choose from. EDS does make a small commission for the blog, if items are purchased.

I agree that a denim and moto jacket are definitely spring essentials! It’s always good to have a few in different washes and color options!

    Happy Sunday Jess!

I love my denim jacket. I have a white blazer I love too but I have to be careful with my self tanner. I don’t out self tanner on when I’m going to wear it but the remnants of it always seem to rub off on it. Your floral jacket is so pretty, I have a few floral kimonos that do the trick for me. I’m glad you’re back safe and sound Jess and I hope you get some much needed rest!
