19 Mar 7th Blog Anniversary and Favorite Spring Posts
Hello friends!
Happy Friday!
My 7th year Blog Anniversary really was in February, but there was a lot going on, so I am celebrating it today! It is hard to believe I have been writing content this long, along with taking fashion photographs with my husband, but I do enjoy it and have made some friends along the way.
I hope you enjoyed St Patty’s Day, and we had some “Luck of the Irish” as my hubby and I could get our first dose of vaccine!
Spring Posts Through the Years
I am also sharing some favorite Spring outfit posts of the past, a long with some future blog goals.
This post is from March 2014 called Vineyards and florals – Elegantly Dressed and Stylish -Fashion Over 50
I was wearing both pieces by Ann Taylor, and we were visiting Childress Vineyards.
This outfit was a fun pattern mix- written in the same month. This skirt was up my alley, as the Zebra is a mascot for my condition- EDS.
I always like a great peplum top, as they are quite flattering. Here is the POST.
This was March 2015 and I wanted to style pastels. This was also a time I couldn’t wear heels, so I stuck to flats, such as these J Crew pair.
Light jeans are great for the cooler temps and this boyfriend straight pair fits right in with the trends today.
This blue print jersey knit doesn’t wrinkle and I love to wear it in the Spring with a jean jacket or moto.
It has rusching on the side which accentuates the waist which I like.
I do love a good utility look, especially with khaki or olive shades. This shirtdress was from H&M. The Utility Style seems to come around each Spring and summer. 2018
Speaking of neutrals, this is two seperaete and I loved the detail of the corset on the top. Cargo pants are still popular these days and make for an easy put together Spring look.
I just love this Zara floral dress. It’s linen, which could be great for Spring and Summer here in the South.
It really is my favorite!
If you have read through my blog, you know I am a fan of Mango. Trendy, classic and stylish pieces at affordable prices.
I loved the peach tones in this mini dress, and the tiered style remains a trend this Spring.
This silk tunic from Soft Surroundings is such a beautiful sky blue color. White jeans can be worn year round, but I certainly wear them in the Spring with pastels.
This outfit could been worn in the Spring and Summer. It was rather warm this day. If there was a chill, a jean jacket would be a fine edition!
Blog Goals for this Year
I wrote about some of these goals in this post, Personal and Blog Goals for 2021.
Well, I need to get on the ball!
Like to know it is some thing I still need to sign up for. Part of me is wondering if I have the time to do it.
I am investigating new templates and I know I want to make the font larger or easy to read. My mom just got her eyes checked and she has better vision at 76 than I do!
I faithfully post on IG each day, and have been doing IG stories reg. too. I think the goal is to research hashtags that are popular right now.
Keep on keepin on! The biggest highlight for me with this fashion blog is getting to be creative, as I always have said I must be lobsided when I walk as I am more “right brained” 🙂 The other major joy with this to getting to know all the ladies who blog and have been blogging with me , learning more about my readers.
Tell me what outfit/s did you like most on my Spring look back? What pieces are you looking to add this year?
Have a great weekend,
Stay Safe.
Jess xx

Posted at 12:11h, 19 MarchHappy Anniversary! The outfit that I like the best was the first one you posted, from March 2014 called Vineyards and floral. The yellow & pink is so cheery and feminine! I live in Florida and have found skirts to be a comfortable & stylish option instead of pants or jeans.

Posted at 16:42h, 19 MarchHi Frances!
Thank you! I do love this combination of colors and the print caught my eye against the white background. I do love some skirts in the summer along with shorts here, as we get hot in NC. Thanks for stopping by!
