What day is today?I feel like singing The Answer my Friend, is Blowin in the Wind, The Answer is Blowin in the Wind.. as you can see it was pretty darn windy out today, but we made do. It is still pretty warm in Charlotte, as the temps don't really get a bit chillier here end of Oct beginning of November, but that isn't going to stop me from wearing fall or fall like clothes! Transitional. I was inspired by Mary Murnane's winter white look HERE and thought, yes! I could do this now, as I am not wearing a heavy sweater and I love a winter white look. I think the key can be in the details or adding fall textures to the color. I have added my Enzo Angiolini tweed pointed brown flats here that were a great Ebay find, my Louis Vuitton bag, and  a pair of vintage brown earrings I found on Etsy last year. Today I am interviewing my blogger friend, and fellow Over 40 Fashion Compatriot, Jill, of Grown Up Glamour.
The first thing I wanted to know was what her definition or take on glamour was.
" Today's styles in the main tend toward a more casual look so I do feel that for many women the ability to add
their own touch of glamour has been lost.
My own definition of glamour is not the movie star version, it is more about knowing yourself and your own style
and projecting this image to the world. I feel as we age it is very important to make the time and look as good as we can."

IMG_9175IMG_9163Hello Ladies!We all know the fall season, as far as retailers are concerned begins in August. North Carolina doesn't agree. The weather truly doesn't  become fall-ish until end of October -November. However, I doth protest! How can one read the magazines, go to Fall fashion shows and view others in their fall attire and not want to join in wearing boots, oxfords, leggings, jeggings, denim, blazers, all in falls glorious colors. I plan to do a post on Pantone's Colors for fall, and am happy to say they truly go with my skin tone this year!

IMG_9077Hello Ladies!!Welcome back to another edition of #Turningheadstuesday!! I am sharing with you another one of my looks from #NYFW, as I wore this to the #BetseyJohnson fashion show. Perhaps I could have worn a big tulle fluffy pink dress with a corset outer, but thought that just might be a bit over the top for me, so I saw this on Zara and had to have it!  I know I have shown alot of lace outfits lately, but what can I say.. I love fine well made lace and the color was a surprise! On the website, it looked more maroon, which I thought would be lovely, but when I received it, it is a brick shade and I thought, even better!!

 IMG_9122IMG_9049For someone with EDS, I did alot of walking. For someone WITHOUT it, I did alot of walking. Jersey City and New York are not that conducive to wearing heels and walking blocks. What is a girl to do? I am not living in the early 90s where I can wear my sneakers with my dress and change. right? Just doesn't look right, and I know someone either said, " One has to suffer for beauty", or something along those lines. Hmmmm. Well, , I wanted to share with you the view from my brother's place and some of the sights I took in while I was there.
