23 Jun Blue Crochet and DNA
I know you might be wondering about the title a bit. Well, my sister in law bought me this really cool looking necklace one Christmas, and it literally looks like strands of DNA. I thought it was so neat, as I do like reading medical info, and did so especially when I was first diagnosed with an illness. The colors intertwined in the necklace is what also makes it quite interesting, as there are purples, blues, greens, mixed and strewn throughout. I love pieces that are original. I have always loved medical shows: Dr G Medical Examiner, Forensic Files, Cold Case Files, etc. I love real crime stories, always have. So, whether that was the intention or whether it was just a pretty, light reflecting piece of jewelry, doesn’t matter, it is just unique! The cobalt blue with the crochet detailing looked comfortable and I realized I do not have a single piece of this color in my wardrobe, so I thought I would give it a try. The sandals are from the Clark’s Artisan line, again, another pair of comfortable shoes I purchased new on Ebay.
This look was just my going- out -for -breakfast look, as I had a craving for crab benedict that is made so well here in Charlotte. That, fresh fruit, and a Mimosa started out my day the right way! Then it was off to Target to prepare for some family arrival. I don’t know about you but food shopping exhausts me!! I do have to let you know that besides enjoying the fashion I present, I promise you my post are bound to make you hungry this week! :-))
Have a great week!
