IMG_0319 IMG_0320Welcome to another weekly edition of Turning Heads Tuesday!!!Today I thought I would try something a bit different. I asked Santa for this poncho first of all. When I opened the box this thick, geometric, super soft, poncho is in the shape of a giant square. I am not used to this! I like my clothes mainly fitted  to my shape, so this is new territory. I love the way they look on others, so I thought, " Take a risk, why not?" If it doesn't work out, I can blame it on Santa!

IMG_6882Hello LadiesI am sure I am not the only one that is upset over this shows ending. No! I love everything about it.. the style, the era, the stories, Don Draper, Peggy, Joan, oh I am going to miss it! I l gravitate toward shows in the 40s-60s, Manhattan, Masters of Sex, and my favorite and topic of discussion: Mad Men.. Today I thought in tribute to  'Mad Men last season, I would channel my "inner Joan".

IMG_5084Happy Monday Ladies!I wasn't able to get to all the blogs last week, as we took an excursion with the pups to the Great  Smoky Mountains, about a 3 hour drive and stayed in a place called the McKinley Edwards Inn. It was pet friendly, so we brought the pups. Our main plan to stay there was to enjoy the mountains, but mainly to ride a 1940's rail car called the Great  Smoky Mountain Rail Road. More on that Wed. Today, I will introduce you to the area in which we stayed in Bryson City, NC.
