Hello ladies!

I am bringing you a casual look today with white and browns. The combination is one of my favorites.

Brown tones with White Denim

This casual look with white and brown is eye-catching and gives a fresh take on a familiar outfit.

First, we all know that straight leg jeans and many other jean styles are popular right now, and I am all for that as well. I found these Mott & Bow, white Mom jeans on Poshmark. Since I have worked with them before, I knew the fit, and ordered them. I do prefer a higher waisted jean, as I am long waisted., and these sit around the belly button.

I do enjoy wearing white jeans in the winter for a fresh look. It does depend on the weather! Just cold is one thing, but snow and ice, I tend to refrain.

I showed some pretty colorful outfits last week, (THIS POST AND THIS POST) and because I go by my mood often when I get dressed, today I decided to share this neutral palette.

The brown tones here provide a nice contrast and are warmer than if I had chosen black. Subtle shades of champagne or light tan mix as I wear this Vince blouse under my brown-toned moto jacket. The cream-colored boots add that fun touch, and I love the gold heel, again adding to the warmth of the outfit

Friends, let me tell you, it helps when you switch themes etc to have a hubby that is an IT expert! He has a world of patience, that I don’t! He and I did work together and It was on my list of goals for 2022 🙂

I created a new LOGO and have changed different features of the blog. The top will have a “featured post” and then the page will have other posts listed.

Happenings

Well, we got a touch of Winter weather this week, as it snowed Monday with pellets of ice making our driveway a bit of a skating rink. The pups shuffled along and at first would sink into the snow. It’s always fun to watch! My girl Truffles is a Prima Dona, (though no fault of her own), and rushes into the house straight for her own heating pad 🙂

It was a pretty mellow week, and I got more done around the house, cleaning, organizing the pantry, working out, drawing and reading. We went out one day to Cork and Cask, one of our favorite small businesses to enjoy some vino and comfort food.

    Love your new theme! And yes, it comes with its struggles! I was pretty stressed when I changed mine but thankfully the issues got ironed out. I snapped a picture of this outfit: need to copy it!

    White and brown look great together in winter, co chic! I left the house only once this weekend and that was to go to Walmart for a shingles vaccine! It was chilly here and feels like winter!
