 ( this outfit- this tweed jacket was from LaFayetteNY149- I bought on Poshmark-originally $250, I paid $50, and my Rebecca minkoff bag - bought on eEbay)TGIF Friends!One thing i know about this time of year, is that it is my favorite time for styling outfits. I love that you can be creative with layering, prints, color choices, and love the fabrics associated with Fall-tweed, leather, cashmere, velvet... If you were to look at my closet, you would assume I am from the North as the have more fall/winter clothes than I do Spring/Summer. I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but have been living in Charlotte for 15 years now. Dressing for this season ( or any other) doesn't have to cost a fortune, even as a Fashion blogger, if you know where to look for deals!

 Hello friends Happy Halloween!  Some Halloween decor was the best I could do this year. I have been recuperating from the Asheville trip, so I will look forward to seeing your costumes if you dress up.  I had dry needling yesterday and didn't want to really dress up as the human pin cushion .  We did have  so much fun as kids though,  as my mom made all of our costumes. So, since there are no tricks this year, I decided to bring you a "Treat" and introduce you to a Luxury accessories brand out of the UK,  BLACK.

 Hello friends,I hope you all had a happy weekend.   It is finally getting chilly here in Charlotte, and I love it! I do enjoy the sun, as it has a positive effect on my mood, but there is nothing like the Fall chill in the air for sleeping too. I won't delve into this topic too much, but having or nearing menopause, I am nearly almost always hot, or warm. So, i love being cold at night and getting cozy under the covers. It just makes for better sleep. On a fashion note, I am talking about the trend for Fall-Velvet. I have quite a few velvet pieces in my wardrobe, and this is the styling of one piece and a sample from last year.

 Happy Friday ladies,It is hard to believe it is almost November, as it seems like the months go quickly by as we head to the Holidays. I have been thinking about this subject for awhile, thinking about what makes me fulfilled at this stage in life. The true meaning is "being satisfied or happy because of fully developing one's abilities or character."
