Red Hot Trends: Exploring the Power of Red -Some Red Cyber Monday deals

Red is red hot right now. Well, when isn’t it? A color of passion and power, it exudes confidence.

I know, I know. Don’t you wear red during the Holiday season? Red and green, or red and white?

Or if you don’t want to look like a Christmas tree or candy cane, you can choose to wear red in different ways.

This rich hue makes you feel powerful when wearing, especially if you come from a sea of black wearers.

Red signifies power, being seen, making an entrance. It almost gaurentees you will be noticed!

Have you heard of the “blue carpet” when celebrities make an entrance at an award show?  I don’t think so! Again, it is “rolling out the red carpet” that makes you feel special, or that ” all eyes on me” disposition.

Red is also signified with excitment. Beleive it or not, when you wear red, or see red, physiological changes can occur such as increased blood pressure, elevated heart rate. Hmm. Someone might want to tell Santa!

I love wearing red, and with red hair, it was said to be a fashion/beauty faux paux. Yes, but by whom?

If you have red hair, toss that notion away, as I will be giving you some wonderful red pieces you can wear during the holidays and beyond.

I will be sharing some holiday looks to come on the blog and/or Instagram soon.

Cyber Monday Shopping

You have seen me wear red on the blog before, so I am giving you some past examples, and then giving you some shopping options, as today is Cyber Monday, if you are more inclined to shop from the comfort of your home, like I am.

Holiday Festivities

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, of those of you in the States. We took a road trip to visit my mom and most of my family was there. We all chipped in and made some delicious dishes, and it was just alot of fun sitting around chatting and having a good time.

We started  a new tradition as my husband, myself, sister in law, and brother ran the 5k Turkey trot, my pace was 10:30, and I was happy I could do it! My other brother, his wife and kids walked the mile walk. We all wore turkey hats and I think I started off faster as it was cold in the ‘burg!

As a fellow natural redhead I always said there is a red for everyone. Trick is finding your shade. I love bright and deep reds. I stick to tomato and cranberry red shades in my wardrobe. I love a good red lipstick too. You look FABULOUS!
