Soft and Serene-Pantone’s Color of 2024-Peach Fuzz

Yes, this year is a soft color for Pantone’s color of the year 2024, Peach Fuzz.

No, it was not designed with the the thought of those little hairs that grow on our chin and faces after the age of 45! 😉

How was everyone’s weekend? We had a busy weekend with listening to music at The Cottage, our favorite wine bar, where we can bring the pups. We always get complimented on how well behaved they are. 🙂 Saturday we went to see my Sister in Law, at her swim meet, and went out to dinner. It was an interesting meet!

Now, let’s get into the Color of the Year for 2024.

Peach Fuzz

Peach Fuzz was chosen by the Institute:

“… our need for nurturing, empathy and compassion grows ever stronger as does our imaginings of a more peaceful future. We are reminded that a vital part of living a full life is having the good health, stamina, and strength to enjoy it. That in a world which often emphasizes productivity and external achievements, it is critical we recognize the importance of fostering our inner selves and find moments of respite, creativity, and human connection amid the hustle and bustle of modern life.”  from the Pantone Institute.

Perfect as well for the frame of mind where we often reassess at the beginning of the year, what we want to help us retain a peaceful, joyous life. What means the most to us.

Wearing Peach Fuzz

Now, you might be wondering how to incorporate this color in your life, in your style? How will you wear “Peach Fuzz”?

First, let me say that this is a light, serene and soft color, a cross between a peach and pink. Yes, it is heavenly for redheads, and I actually do not own much peach at all. I may just remedy that come Spring!

I think of it as a soft, romantic color, and of course you can balance out the “romance” if you don’t want to go “full on” in other ways of styling. Think- if you are wearing a peach tulled skirt, perhaps add a bia light pt of edge with a faux leather fitted top, or a more structured button down . A dichotomy is always an interesting look!

More casually, a light pair of denim, in a more modern style with a peach sweater and cream or lighter colored booties would look great!

From coats to sweaters and accessories, here are some ways you can incorporate “Peach Fuzz” into your wardrobe.

I imagine more will also be coming out at Spring approaches, so be on the lookout!

Cozy set

Pretty cable knit sweater

Pretty style, lighter sweater

Love this suit! Great blazer with some denim!

Thinking Spring? This is such a pretty skirt! You could certainly wear

it in the Winter months with tall boots and a sweater.

Cold enough for the Teddy Coat!

Want to add the color for Winter, but want an accessory? This furry bag will add texture to your look.

Let’s Talk Makeup!

If you love peachy tones, like i do, here are some great products:

Ok, had to include this as it’s such a pretty case. Pat McGrath.

If you are looking to pay less, I love Milani lipsticks at a fraction of the cost.

I have this in 2 shades and its a great creme blush at a small cost. This is Tahiti.

Lady Gaga’s makeup line. This highlighter is beautiful.

Clean beauty and a wonderful brand. Love this cream blush that can be worn as a lip color too.

Lots of good peachy tones here with some darker shades to use at liner or

as you wish.

As Spring approaches, there will be even more peach clothing options, so be on the lookout if you are interested.

What do you think about Peach Fuzz? Is this a color you will be looking for this Winter or Spring?

Have a great day!

See you tomorrow for Turning Heads Tuesday!

Loving this peach color, I have a gorgeous hoodie in this color that I wear a lot. Also, I love Rose Gold jewelry, which I feel is the metal version of this peach. Already wearing a lot of rose gold with Valentine’s Day approaching, this peach is a great alternative to wearing pink for us redheads!

      Hello Dawn,
I do love this peach shade and will be looking for Spring. Yes, Rose Gold is the metal version and would look lovely with peach. I have some pink, and some peach in my wardrobe, but not alot. I may remedy this in the Spring when more peach pieces will be showing in stores too. 🙂 Thanks for commenting!
