09 Apr Blush and Olive with Restyled Spring Scarf
Hi Ladies!
. As I slowly add new pieces to my spring wardrobe, I purchased this delicate chiffon scarf with its lovely mix of olives, plum, pinks, lavender and blue, as i styled it previously, in this port – Lilac Dress and Poshmark Deals. I loved the beautiful print and looked forward to styling it with other pieces in my wardrobe. I don’t have a huge collection of scarves, but love a chiffon or silk scarf best.
Yesterday was a tough day as I had all over body pain, so I am not sure if I am getting sick, or if it is my EDS that is flaring. I don’t know how I could spend week’s in bed, when this disease first began, as I go bonkers after a day! I am hoping to feel better as the week goes on as we have things planned.
Today, however, is my hubby’s birthday, and we have planned at the end of the week to go into Uptown for dinner and then see Winton Marsallis and Jazz from Lincoln Center. I’m looking forward to it too!
My lovely blogger friend, Andrea of Living on Cloud Nine, sent me this LOFT blouse in the mail. I was so surprised! and thought it was such a lovely gesture, as I just had commented on her wearing the blouse on her blog. She is a sweetheart! I love the flowy statement sleeves and the soft blush pink color. I knew I had to style it with olive pants. The olive cargo pants from Loft, I have had for years, and are worn frequently! The third piece I added was a neutral with my cognac leather jacket mixing well with the soft color palette.
My white bucket bag from Zara adds just a bright touch to the look.
Although I am not a scarf fanatic, I still love finding a new one that will bring more print , color and femininity to my look. I bought this one at Charming Charlies, as they had a 2 for $20 deal ! Combining pink and purple tones with rich neutrals like cognac and olive is something that looks both soft and refreshing. Do you try other color combinations or do you tend to stick to the tried but true?
