I still want to wear my boots, perhaps as a way to rebel against Mother Nature, or just because I feel like it! When I styled this mustard top and gold jewelry, I thought to take out my gold/brown snakeskin booties c/o Soft Surroundings last year.
Hello Friends!Thank you for being here for Turning Heads Tuesday! Oh my gosh, I can't tell you how stressed I was last week with the blog site going down. It was down all weekend and was going to take until Wednesday to restore! My data center and hosting site made mistakes and 1,000 sites were down, that they had to restore! I just don't have a ton of patience with technology, but there was nothing I could do. Hubby is in IT and he made the transition easier when there were glitches Wed morning. Anyhooo.. hopefully no more problems for awhile! Let's talk about LEOPARD LOVE!
Looking at my closet, when my mom visited, I realize I have alot of shoes. ( Ok, maybe I have realized this before! ) Many of the shoes have been from blogging, working with wonderful companies like Jambu, Andre Assous and Rockport, among others. But, I have been noticing this trend for this summer-Slides. Just a simple flat shoe with a fabric, leather, straw front makes an easy summer look even easier. I thought i would put together some of my favorite pairs. i haven't jumped the gun yet, as i need a bit more support than some slides have to offer. However, if you aren't worried about that, they are the perfect shoe to just slip in and be on your way to a winery, summer concert, or just out for the day. Keeping your feet cool.

The fact that it wrinkles very easily.I think you accept it as part of the charm, or go insane by trying to continually iron pieces until each crease is removed. Just know, as soon as you get in your car, and then leave it, the wrinkles are going to be there again. I think accepting it as part of the style and material, you can then, ENJOY linen.

Hello friends!Wow, here we are in 2018, and I am glad to be back on the blog, although the rest and getting to celebrate with family was wonderful. I hope you all enjoyed the Holidays and celebrated big! It was so much fun on Christmas day when the pups dug into their stockings! They were so excited. We kept it easy for New Years Eve, as we enjoyed watching the Ball drop and cooking a fancy meal of crab cakes, corn soueffle and other goodies. We toast the New Year with a delicious bottle of vino. Today's post is very apropo to start the New year with and one of my favorite fabric and trends of the year, velvet. I'm thrilled to start of the first collaboration of the New year with the company, Soft Surroundings.
