THT-Bright Colors and How I Styled My New Thrifted Pieces

I discovered some bright colors when I was looking for Spring pieces at a recent thrifting event.

Yellow lace top, white jeans and cream sandals

Bright Colors and Thrifted Pieces

I wrote about my afternoon shopping at this event, IN THIS POST, and I have styled two of my finds.

Other treasures that I found, I will style as well, but it is still too cold to be able to wear them yet.

Yesterday, I styled black and white, which is trending, but what I consider a classic combination.

Today, Bright colors are the name of the game, from lime and Kelly greens, yellow, pinks, and orange. Orange is “on fire” this Spring! This pair of yellow sandals would have worked quite well with this outfit.

This striped blouse in on my list!

Ladies who love creating a colorful outfit or want to add some color to your wardrobe, this season is the time!

I do enjoy thrift shopping, but it certainly is easier for me on-line ( Poshmark). I was just amazed at how ‘warehouse large” this event was and just how much I had to look through. It can be a bit overwhelming!

In my fashion mind, I was looking for a white denim jacket (didn’t find), some Bermuda denim shorts (did score!) and some pretty tops for Spring.

I spied this pretty bright yellow lace blouse that is lined inside (so no need for a cami, yay!) on the rack and was drawn to it. The length looked a little short (I am long waisted) but I knew it would be great with the higher rise denim I have in my closet.

I also HAD to look at the bag section, and this little rattan and leather bag caught my eye, as I thought the pop of orange would be a great way to add a bit of color to a natural linen look or a neutral style. It could also be great with another bright color, which is what I did here!

The bag is by Talbots and in practically new shape, and the top was NWT.

I knew that these earrings would be the perfect choice!

Have you tried some bright colors this Spring? If so, let me know in the comments.

Bring on the bright colors for spring and summer! The lace top really pops when paired with the white jeans and sandals. And the thrifted bag is a great addition to complete the outfit.

Ermahgerd that yellow is gorgeous Jess!! Can’t say I’ve seen mustard yellow lace anything before… what a great find 😀

I’m still waiting on warmer temps in the UK to wear brighter colours – or should I say “lighter” as I always wear brights anyway!

    Thanks for hosting, much love

Awesome outfit, Jess! The top is so pretty! And the little bag is adorable. The warehouse event looked like so much fun! But yeah overwhelming and tiring too. As for brights, that’s pretty much where I live.

That lace top is fabulous Jess. It looks like it is supposed to be more cropped. Whereas it would probably be a tunic on me, haha!!
And it’s fabulous with the orange purse too>

April is flying by but I think I want to try going in store to thrift some in May. It is always fun to find something different and I want to make a little more budget friendly than what I typically by on Poshmark which is usually more brand names. Love the details on this top!
