How to Look Expensive – For Less
Morning Ladies~I'm in California enjoying Napa and SF, and look forward to bringing you my vacation pics later on the blog, but had this post ready to go for you while I was away.Do you like a luxe look but don't want to spend over budget or buy designer clothes? First, Fall is my favorite season for Fashion, and I will tell you why. There are some fabulous fabrics, cashmere, leather, tweed, which add extra style and texture . Second, Fall is a great season for pattern mixing and layering. I myself, do not buy all designer pieces, but love a luxe or expensive look. Today, I am going to break down my outfit and tell you how to achieve just that without spending a ton.
Hello friends!I typically have a Midlife topic or Inspirational post on Fridays, but I wanted to post this while still on vacation . We took these photos a few weeks ago when it was still warm, in the 80s in NC, so I thought I would just share them with you today, and talk about shopping your closet. Its funny. I have more Fall and Winter clothes than I do Summer/Spring clothes, even though I have been living here in NC for 15 years. I think its because I just love Fall fabrics and layering, along with beautiful jackets, motos, and cozy sweaters. I have added some new pieces to my Fall wardrobe, but also enjoy shopping my closet, and reaching for that tweed jacket I have not seen in a year. Today, I styled my neutral snake skin dress I I received from Natalie Attired, a box service that I collaborated with a few years ago.
Morning friends!Tomorrow is the day - we leave for San Fran and Wine Country! I can't wait to explore and will later be bringing you our trip here, on the blog. The linkup is still on. so do stop by!

Happy Friday everyone!Today I thought I would write a bit of a fun post just talking about how important it is to "let your hair down", and relax, not taking life too seriously. My mom will tell me how much she loves my sense of humour, and that I need to show it more. I can be serious at times, but I love to joke around, be sarcastic, have fun and not take things too seriously. Read my post-
Happy Turning Heads Tuesday friends!I am excited to share with you a look today from

Happy Friday my friends!Well, this is perhaps what I should be asking you! I think it is one of those wonderful powers of Menopause, the problem of insomnia. I take meds to sleep, but would prefer other methods to try and that is why I wrote about it. Sleep is so important, Dr. Buxton, a neuroscientist, in the Division of Sleep Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, says that sleep can be disrupted by both medical causes and environmental. If you have restless leg, or sleep apnea, it is best to see a physician for this type of sleep disorders. " However, I feel the day to day, lack of sleep, often from worry, loud noises ( planes over head ( we have this) or excessive caffeine are some things we may be able to control. Making our living space very peaceful and comfortable is one way.
