You know I love my Karina dresses! I seemed to have amassed quite a collection. I love the versatility, styles and no wrinkle factor. I am probably going to take this one on my vacation in October! Just roll it up in your suitcase and no ironing involved, I love that, especially if I am on a trip. This Fall Paisley print was an easy choice for me with its rust, orange, olive, burgundy and cobalt shades. I knew I had a lot in my closet to layer with this dress, so you will see it again, styled for colder weather. This dress is part of the Autumn in New York Collection with the print called "Cinnamon Coffee".

Oh Soft Surroundings, you hit this one out of the park for me. Flowy fabric, button down detail, dark florals in gorgeous rich fall colors. Yes, Yes and Yes! I have been wanting to add some dark florals in a maxi or midi style for Fall, so when I saw this on the front cover of the pre-Fall catalogue and on the website, I fell head over heels!  This dress, the Anais Maxi dress can be styled in more ways that one, and you will see me style it again in colder weather. This dress was gifted to me by Soft Surroundings.

I LOVE statement earrings, and jewelry that speaks for itself. I have such a fondness and appreciation to for artists who work by hand on their creations.  Let me introduce you to this wonderful artist- Diana Ferguson, who hails from Phoenix, Arizona, where she hand makes her beautiful, original "works of art" .  I'll be showing you how I styled her Enchanted Gardens earrings, the ones I selected from her Petals to the Metal Collection, as well as a pair from the Iced Petals Collection. At the end of the post, there is a discount code for you as well.

Since Summer is drawing to an end ( well at least in the retail world). I thought i would do a flashback post. Here in NC, it really doesn't get "chilly' until the end of Oct. My blog is heading to the 5 year mark, so that marks I am sure, a few outfits that i love and isn't it always fun to look back at your style from years past? How has it changed?  What might I add to my summer wardrobe? Well, at this point in time, I am getting excited about buying cashmere sweaters, dusters and booties, but really there are end of season sales out there where you can shop for the existing season.

Happy Turning Heads Tuesday!Well, it seems I took Labor Day quite literally and had a day of cleaning the house. It's ok, just had to be done! Its one of those staples that I love to wear. It took me over a year  to find a jean skirt I loved. I'm picky! I also wanted one to the knee and loved this sort of retro button down the front style. Because it is too hot right now for jeans, I chose the next best thing.,

Morning ladies and Happy Friday!August is Gastropersis Awareness Month and I thought I would share with you what it is and how I manage to eat with this illness. I am going to share today some of the health challenges I face, and how I keep wellness and nutrition in my mind, daily. Years ago, when learning about my Ehlers-Danlos diagnosis, I went to the hospital to undergo an X-Ray for how long it took for food to digest in my stomach, as I already has stomach issues diagnosed as "IBS" years ago and I was still having problems. I don't like to necessarily talk a lot about my disease, but I do like to inform, and raise awareness, if someone else recognizes symptoms or is having difficulty.
