Hello Friends!Isn't it hard to believe it is now August? I have to say it has been a hot summer here in Charlotte, but we did have a mild Spring that led into the next Season. One thing I do enjoy is the ability to sit outside throughout the year until about December! I enjoy the sunshine and seeing it more often than not, affects my mood in a positive way. One look I love seeing in the summer, which seems to be popular, year after year is the all white look. I shared a look yesterday on the blog, and today wanted to wear white with a bit of a classic look. Yes, my hair remains up in August. and I .got rid of those pesky greys! My stylist said she never saw those white hairs on my head until now....
Happy Monday! There is something about all- white looks in the summertime that I love. Although it may not be practical at all times, you only live once! I love the crisp, bright white look, even though my photographer talks about its difficulty in capturing the detail. White, off-white can be worn year round and this week I am sharing with you several styled looks.

Today, however, I thought I would show you the other dress I picked out at the RMC Boutique in Savannah on our trip. Its been a little while since I wore florals, so now it is time to bring them out of hiding!
I just wanted to let you know that I have posted about PART 2 of My Savannah Trip, on Friday, so if you would like to check out Tybee Beach, you can!Ill be keeping it a bit shorter today, as I have found myself having some sleepness nights due to what may be carpal tunnel, or EDS forearm/shoulder pain. It is chronic and I will have to see an orthopedist who may be able to help.In this heat, there is only so much a girl can do! July in the South. Whew! I would have to say this is a tough time to take blog pictures as you are trying not to show sweat stains, and you hope your hair won't fall in the first 10 minutes! It is up yet again, as I am not a fan of having my hair down in 100 degree temps.
Hello friends!Its one of those extra hot weekends here in the South. 100 degrees, humid and your sweating as soon as you leave the house. You see the summertime commericals on TV. Everyone is on a beach, or having a party, drinking cocktails and enjoying themselves with their friends. The sunshine is out, it a sunny afternoon and everyone is smiling! Well, those commercials can be pure fantasy, can they not, when the weather hits almost 100 degrees and the real feel is even higher?
Hello friendsAhhh, back from an amazing trip in Savannah, GA. I know, some people head north during the summer months to escape the heat, but we went for it. We really found that it wasn't much hotter than Charlotte. I thought I would break up the trip a bit into parts and write several posts. We stayed in the Historic District in Savannah, and found it to be a great place to walk to restaurants, shops and Forsyth Park. The air conditioning was icy cold and perfect for when we had to leave the pups for the morning. We did spend a good bit of the first day exploring and walking everywhere!
