Morning Ladies~I'm in California enjoying Napa and SF, and look forward to bringing you my vacation pics later on the blog, but had this post ready to go for you while I was away.Do you like a luxe look but don't want to spend over budget or buy designer clothes? First, Fall is my favorite season for Fashion, and I will tell you why. There are some fabulous fabrics, cashmere, leather, tweed, which add extra style and texture . Second, Fall is a great season for pattern mixing and layering. I myself, do not buy all designer pieces, but love a luxe or expensive look. Today, I am going to break down my outfit and tell you how to achieve just that without spending a ton.

We took these photos a few weeks ago when it was still warm, in the 80s in NC, so I thought I would just share them with you today, and talk about shopping your closet.Its funny. I have more Fall and Winter clothes than I do Summer/Spring clothes, even though I have been living here in NC for 15 years. I think its because I just love Fall fabrics and layering, along with beautiful jackets, motos, and cozy sweaters. I have added some new pieces to my Fall wardrobe, but also enjoy shopping my closet, and reaching for that tweed jacket I have not seen in a year. Hello friends!Well, I am on a plane as we speak to San Fransisco CA, or Port Costa, to be exact. Hubby and I rented a house ( VRBO) with a beautiful view of the bay, and will be staying an hour from SF, 30 minutes to Sonoma and Napa. We will take the ferry in so we don't have to drive in town. I am so excited and desperately needed a change of environment and some escape. Today I am bringing you another Fall look from Soft Surroundings. I just love their soft garments, the styles and detail in their clothing. Today, this plaid rust and brown dress, the Dorset Dress with a drop waist ,just caught my eye, as I don't have a lot of plaid in my closet, and it was time to remedy that! Why not do some pattern mixing with my shoes, as I fell in love with these Snakeskin boots. 
Morning friends!Today I am featuring a red dress from the Karina Dresses Collection "All Work, All Play Collection." There were several prints that caught my eye, but you know Iove color, and who doesn't love a little red dress? I loved this red print with black and white floral print. I love this phrase instead of the All Work and No Play phrase that I just can't relate to. Let's face is All work and No play makes Jess a very dull girl! It's always good to have balance in life.
