Morning Ladies~I'm in California enjoying Napa and SF, and look forward to bringing you my vacation pics later on the blog, but had this post ready to go for you while I was away.Do you like a luxe look but don't want to spend over budget or buy designer clothes? First, Fall is my favorite season for Fashion, and I will tell you why. There are some fabulous fabrics, cashmere, leather, tweed, which add extra style and texture . Second, Fall is a great season for pattern mixing and layering. I myself, do not buy all designer pieces, but love a luxe or expensive look. Today, I am going to break down my outfit and tell you how to achieve just that without spending a ton.

Morning friends!Tomorrow is the day - we leave for San Fran and Wine Country! I can't wait to explore and will later be bringing you our trip here, on the blog. The linkup is still on. so do stop by! Today I am bringing you another Fall look  from Soft Surroundings.  I just love their soft garments, the styles and detail in their clothing. This dress, the Raffinato dress,  a soft, medium heather grey sweater dress, called to me from their Fall collection. I love wearing sweater dresses in the Fall and pairing them with boots/booties.  "The mastery is in the stitch work, as the sweater dress discovers European refinement in this shapely slip over. Varied knits sculpt the waist and minimize the shoulders" The flouncy hem of the dress and shape adds to its sophistication.

Happy Friday friends!Just back from PA last night, and I am beat! Looking forward to a relaxing weekend. As I write this, I was hoping to finish our final steps in preparation for a visit to Italy in the Fall. We had planned on visiting Rome and the Almalfi Coast, staying in the Sorrento area. My hubby has begun his Italian journey by studying Italian on an app called Duo Lingo. As I witnessed some of his lessons, I thought to myself, "sure it is fun to learn another language, especially if one is to visit the area." However, having learned mostly individual vocabulary words of Spanish in high school, with little context and communication, I thought, It would be best to focus on those phrases I would most likely USE and NEED in Italy.

Morning friendsFirst, this post WAS to be a post on this Tuesday's, Turning Heads Tuesday, however, a blog crisis has now been lifted, and I thought to post it today. If you have been reading the blog for a bit, tell me... "What is  my favorite shoe company that combines comfort and fashion with memory foam footbeds? Answer: JAMBU!Well, it's that time of year. Have you bought your Fall boots yet? Adding a few pairs to what you have? What is it about boots and booties that we can't resist? I think it is the "cool factor". Maybe if someone were to have told me that in high school... my room would have been overflowing with boots right now! Something about the edginess of boots with feminine looks also attracts me. Today, I'm continuing my role as a Jambu Brand Ambassador, and will be sharing different Fall boots and booties looks throughout the season. The shootie/bootie, i'm sharing with you today is called the Miranda. A beautiful leather bootie with  an "old world feel"  looks like an upgraded leather oxford with a lot more fun. At the end of the post there is a 20% discount with CODE.

Morning friends! It's HOT. H-O-T! This week here in Charlotte is unseasonally hotter than it has been over the summer. Let's put it this way,  I may have been smiling as I do for photos, but my body was pouring sweat like an new born infant crying for his mommy! The blaring sun and heat, along with the high humidity, made it challenging as I thought about how my hair was sticking to the back of my head. I think you get it, HOT. I took this orange Zara shift dress out of my closet as I haven't worn it on the blog in awhile and I love the bright colors- the orange reminding me of the heat eminating from the  sun- as well as it being a bright, rich color that I love any time of the year.

Morning friends!I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as we delve into summer a bit more.  This is always the time of year where I start to crave Fall clothes and shoes, so I got a bit of a head start and found some amazing sales. I wrote about Things i Love About Summer in this post,  as it isn't over yet!  Speaking of summer, this is a fun and casual look from LOFT that I put together, as I love red and halter tops are the thing when the heat is on!
