How to Look Expensive – For Less
Morning Ladies~I'm in California enjoying Napa and SF, and look forward to bringing you my vacation pics later on the blog, but had this post ready to go for you while I was away.Do you like a luxe look but don't want to spend over budget or buy designer clothes? First, Fall is my favorite season for Fashion, and I will tell you why. There are some fabulous fabrics, cashmere, leather, tweed, which add extra style and texture . Second, Fall is a great season for pattern mixing and layering. I myself, do not buy all designer pieces, but love a luxe or expensive look. Today, I am going to break down my outfit and tell you how to achieve just that without spending a ton.

Happy Friday friends!Just back from PA last night, and I am beat! Looking forward to a relaxing weekend. As I write this, I was hoping to finish our final steps in preparation for a visit to Italy in the Fall. We had planned on visiting Rome and the Almalfi Coast, staying in the Sorrento area. My hubby has begun his Italian journey by studying Italian on an app called
Morning ladies!Isn't it cool when a trend comes along, and instead of having to buy anything, you already have it in your closet!? Well, that is what happened to me, as I just went through my closet over the weekend and realized I had about 4 snakeskin prints in various forms- shoes, skirts, dresses.
Morning friends! It's HOT. H-O-T! This week here in Charlotte is unseasonally hotter than it has been over the summer. Let's put it this way, I may have been smiling as I do for photos, but my body was pouring sweat like an new born infant crying for his mommy! The blaring sun and heat, along with the high humidity, made it challenging as I thought about how my hair was sticking to the back of my head. I think you get it, HOT. I took this orange Zara shift dress out of my closet as I haven't worn it on the blog in awhile and I love the bright colors- the orange reminding me of the heat eminating from the sun- as well as it being a bright, rich color that I love any time of the year.
Morning friends!I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as we delve into summer a bit more. This is always the time of year where I start to crave Fall clothes and shoes, so I got a bit of a head start and found some amazing sales. I wrote about Things i Love About Summer in this post, as it isn't over yet! Speaking of summer, this is a fun and casual look from LOFT that I put together, as I love red and halter tops are the thing when the heat is on!
Morning Friends,Well, we have had some nice low humidity days here In Charlotte, and have enjoyed getting out and about. You have seen my love for dresses in the summer, and how much I love colorful outfits Today and tomorrow, however, I'm keeping it neutral. I wanted to wear a few all white looks, with some neutral accessories, before the summer's end.
