Turning Heads Linkup – Soft Surroundings – Floral Shirt Dress and Floral Sandals
Is there such a thing as too many florals? No! I say! I suppose I am trying to make up some ground as I am not a gardener, like my mom, who has an enviable backyard surrounded by a beautiful garden with flowers surrounding the house. Instead, I have chosen to wear my florals, and today, I am featuring a dress and sandals by Soft Surroundings.
She stared at me from across the computer screen. Bright red flowers adorned her and the ruffled accented sleeves just made her more adorable in my eyes. I am talking about my new dress! Yes, I was browsing the Zara site as I often do several times a week, and saw this dress. If I keep going back to look at something, with interest, most often it is something that calls out to me. With a plentiful closet, this is how I am buying clothing these days, I HAVE TO LOVE IT- and I love it! and... there were a couple of birthday celebrations over the weekend too.
Happy Monday friends! That's it. I am now half a century old and I am ok with that. I think as long as I keep moving forward, what's the problem?I thought since I am now 50, I would write 50 things about myself you may not know. Or... 50 things about turning 50 that isn't so bad.. I'm kidding, kidding.
MorningWell, a great time was had at the Journey/Def Leppard concert! I wrote about it and will feature what i wore and more about the concert in my post for Turning Heads Tuesday tomorrow. It was one of the most fun evenings I have had in awhile! So amazing! I had so much fun, I danced most of the night and needed Sunday to recoup! :-)Today I am "shopping my closet". As tempting as it is, especially as a fashion blogger to buy what's new, I have some "older" favorites in my closet, waiting to be worn. Its been awhile on the blog that I wore a skirt, other than my jean skirt. i enjoy a pretty skirt, but I am more apt to wear dresses in the summer. I did decide however, to pair this yellow mesh, flouncy top with my pink and chartreuse, yellow pencil skirt from Ann Taylor.
Morning! You know, Karina and I go way back. I've made friends with Ruby, Megan, Audrey, and Katharine. If you don't know, they are all styles by Karina Dresses, a company I have worked with since a year or so into the blog. Their styles are made in the USA, and wrinkle free. I would have to say my best friend is Ruby, ( a wrap style dress) but the other girls are a close second! I can't pass up a pretty, large floral print and chose the
Hello friends!I hope you all had fabulous Mother's Days! I am only a pet mommy, but did send my mom a gift and card. Plus, she is coming to visit next month! I am looking forward to it. My outfit today is a neutral casual look, worn with the new top I bought about a month ago from Express. Last year, there was a 'corset trend'. - belts, tops, etc. I saw the lace up style of this tee and thought, yes! If i am going to wear a tee , its gotta have a cute design or some detail that i really like. So, I bought it in white too... :-)

After 10 years with EDS, I am finally able to wear beautiful shoes with a supportive heel and cushioning It is utterly exciting, as the limitless choices of shoes and sandals continues to tempt me!I am happy to bring you another pair and style from
Happy Monday! Ill mostly be writing this week about my amazing trip to NYC ( tomorrow) with Jambu and 4 other bloggers. I came home Friday, after 2 days of a delay because of the snowstorm in the North. So, I am exhausted, sore and feel like a walking zombie but ... I wanted to put together a post about 4 jackets you would want to own for your Spring wardrobe, because winter weather can't last forever! I suppose "Need" is a strong word, my hubby would say, so let's just say, jackets that would look great mixing with your Spring wardrobe! :-)
